Financial Accountant
Orcrist Technologies GmbH
• Manage day-to-day accounting operations for several group entities • Review and reconcile general ledger accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance • Support month-end and year-end closings and prepare relevant reports • Coordinate with external accounting providers, auditors, and tax advisors • Ensure timely and compliant statutory filings across different jurisdictions • Contribute to process improvements, standardization, and automation initiatives • Support integration of newly acquired companies into the group’s financial processes
Job Requirements
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in accounting, preferably in an international or group environment
- Solid understanding of accounting principles (local GAAP / HGB)
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and hands-on mentality
- Excellent communication skills in German and English (C1+)
- Proactive, adaptable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving organization.
- Experience working with DATEV, including financial accounting, asset accounting, and tax-related processes.
- Strong MS Excel skills, including advanced functions such as pivot tables, lookups, and automation features
- Solid understanding of relevant tax regulations, particularly in the areas of VAT and corporate tax.
- High affinity for digital accounting and process automation, ideally with experience in cloud-based finance tools or workflow optimization.
