Job Requirements

  • Software engineering background (such as former Software Engineer, Tech Lead, or System Analyst) with a strong understanding of code development, API integration, and sprint dynamics
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience in software development (mobile, web, or backend)
  • Experience translating business requirements into actionable work items for software engineering teams
  • Experience managing client relationships in a delivery or implementation context
  • Experience leading discovery phases to define project scope, system architecture, and technical risks
  • Experience leading the full software development lifecycle from requirements through delivery
  • Working knowledge of Git, CI/CD, and API structures (REST/GraphQL)
  • Agile project delivery experience, including running Scrum or Kanban ceremonies and maintaining a high-performance cadence
  • Fluent (C1) English proficiency for US client communication
  • Ability to work during 8:00am–5:00pm Eastern Time (ET)
  • Familiarity with Flutter/Dart
  • Familiarity with AI/LLM integration workflows (such as LLMs, MCP)

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR The Event Technology & Registration Project Manager will serve as both a lead and consultant on medium to large scale in-person and/or digital events simultaneously, including and up to marquis events with 10,000+ attendees and other high-touch projects. This role is responsible for project managing event registration and digital platforms, which includes working with clients and other stakeholders to build effective event experiences (registration tools builds, digital platforms, attendee-facing event tech/tool suites), overseeing vendors, and actively managing the attendee registration process. This role manages the digital experiences of events in their entirety, in some cases independently and in other cases leading or in conjunction with a team. This role will lead and supervise Opus employees filling event support roles on projects and ensure that planning schedules are met, budgets are balanced, Opus processes are implemented, and client needs are anticipated and exceeded. This is one of the most critical roles in that journey, and it will require someone who has a true passion for technology project management. This is a REMOTE role Primary Responsibilities: - Manage large global technical projects (i.e., involving up to 20+ resources) by establishing strong relationships with functional and technical teams and integrating requirement definitions, project planning and resource direction to meet team and corporate objectives - Partner with global project sponsors, project teams, other project managers, and product managers to help evaluate technical and business requirements and to identify, develop, and implement approaches and solution alternatives - Work closely with third parties, including consulting and technology partners - Coordinate and track monthly and quarterly SOX IT controls, including detective and monitoring controls related to ERP and supporting systems - Partner with Internal Audit, Finance, HR, and IT teams to ensure timely evidence collection, documentation, and remediation tracking - Support audit requests and maintain organized documentation to demonstrate control effectiveness - Manage small to mid-sized system enhancements and operational initiatives, ensuring scope, timelines, and stakeholders are aligned - Bring structure and follow-through to recurring operational processes that span multiple teams - Track and escalate risks, delays, and ownership gaps to leadership in a clear and timely manner - Support governance activities such as change tracking, release coordination support, and control-related process improvements - Maintain visibility into cross-system dependencies that impact compliance or operational stability - Help standardize documentation and repeatable processes across Finance and HR system support activities Education and Work Experience: - University degree or equivalent work experience in software engineering, computer science or finance / business administration - 4 to 7 years of IT project management experience working with enterprise application software - Experience managing both small- and large-scale projects - Experience supporting SOX IT controls, audit activities, or compliance-related processes is strongly preferred - Experience working in client-side/internal PM roles rather than consulting-only environments preferred - Exposure to Workday or other ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle is a plus - Experience managing smaller concurrent initiatives rather than only large transformations Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: - Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills - Knowledge of the ServiceNow ticketing tool is preferred - Knowledge of JIRA is preferred - Knowledge of project management best practices and methodologies - Strong organizational skills and ability to manage recurring deadlines (e.g., monthly controls) - Comfortable working in environments where processes are still maturing - Ability to follow up persistently to ensure tasks are completed - Clear written communication skills for audit documentation and stakeholder updates - Ability to identify gaps in ownership and help drive accountability - Experience coordinating across IT, Finance, and HR stakeholders #LI-Remote Why Lineage?
