Long Description Your Role The Cable Design Engineer – Zuken E3 will be responsible for electrical cable and harness design, including BOM creation, schematic development, and system interconnects using Zuken E3 and related tools. The role involves collaborating with cross‑functional teams and suppliers to manage design changes and documentation. The engineer will also handle electrical component selection, obsolescence management, and ensure compliance with applicable electrical and safety standards. In this role, you will: - Design and develop electrical cables and harnesses, including BOM creation, schematics, and system interconnects using Zuken E3 and related tools. - Collaborate with engineering, cross‑functional teams, and suppliers to manage design changes and update technical documentation. - Perform electrical and electronic component selection, handle obsolescence management, and ensure compliance with applicable electrical and safety standards. Your Profile - Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical & Electronics or a related electrical/electronic discipline. - 3–8 years of hands‑on experience in electrical/electronic design, with strong exposure to cable harness and schematic design. - Proven experience with Zuken E3 (E3S) and BOM creation/management, along with good understanding of electrical components. - Strong communication skills, problem‑solving ability, and a proactive, positive attitude. As we expand our planning and advisory capability, we are seeking a motivated Senior or Principal Strategic Planning Engineer to join our Melbourne team. This role is suited to someone who enjoys combining technical skills with client engagement, and is looking to step into (or continue in) a position where they can lead projects, guide teams, and act as a trusted advisor to clients. Our Network Planning team's work spans strategic and master planning, through options assessment and business cases, to feasibility, detailed planning studies and operational/delivery support. You will play a key role in building our water and wastewater planning services offering for clients and communities across metropolitan and regional contexts.
