Corporate Bookkeeper

Role Description - Maintain accurate, up-to-date financial records across corporate operations - Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial processes - Reconcile accounts and ensure data integrity across systems - Assist with financial reporting and compliance requirements - Partner with the Finance Director and leadership to support operational decision-making - Monitor financial transactions to ensure alignment with company policies and regulatory standards - Work collaboratively to strengthen internal controls and improve financial processes - Generate financial reports including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements - Support budgeting processes and provide insights for financial planning - Conduct account analysis and ensure compliance with governmental accounting regulations Qualifications - Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail - Self-starter who can manage priorities independently - Strong understanding of bookkeeping principles and financial systems - Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment - Comfortable collaborating with cross-functional teams - Committed to accuracy, accountability, and continuous improvement - Ability to multitask and manage multiple deadlines - Minimum of 3 years experience as an accountant or bookkeeper - Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field - Proficiency in ERP systems and advanced MS Excel skills Benefits - Be part of a mission-driven organization that creates real impact - Work alongside a collaborative and supportive leadership team - Gain exposure to federal contracting and complex financial operations - Opportunity to grow and shape processes in a scaling organization - Remote flexibility with meaningful, purpose-driven work
