Care Navigator We are excited to announce that currently we are looking for a 100% remote (work from home—WFH) contact Care Navigator to join our team. In this position, you will provide payment assistance solutions such as co-pay cards or vouchers. The Care Navigator is primarily responsible for receiving medical claims from HCPs or patients and vetting the claim against program specific business rules to determine if the claim should be paid or rejected. Job Responsibilities: - Primary responsibilities involve receiving medical claims from HCPs or patients, ensuring the adequate supporting documentation has been provided, interpreting the EOB/CMS1500, vetting the claim against program specific business rules and ultimately determining if the claim should be paid or rejected - Exceptional organizational skills are required - May provide support as needed for customer requests via telephone, email, fax, or other available means of contact to the Support Center - Requires the ability to recognize operational challenges and suggest recommendations to management, as necessary Schedule: - Ability to work 40 hours per week under moderate supervision Required Qualifications: - High School Diploma or equivalent - Experience in claim processing required - Required to have active Medical Billing Certification with CEUs up to date or must be willing to get certification - Medical Billing experience required - Ability to interpret Explanation of Benefits (EOB) - HIPPA trained - Must reside in country where the job is posted. Role Description As a GI Expert Nurse Practitioner at Oshi Health, you'll deliver high-quality, virtual-first gastrointestinal care to adults with complex digestive conditions through our telemedicine platform. You'll work alongside a collaborative, multidisciplinary team of GI physicians, dietitians, and behavioral health specialists to provide coordinated, whole-person care that helps patients achieve lasting digestive health improvements. This role is at the heart of our mission — and your clinical expertise will directly change lives. Key Responsibilities - Deliver virtual patient care in alignment with Oshi's evidence-based care model, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning for GI conditions with a focus on DGBIs, GERD, and IBD via video visits and chat messaging. - Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team (GI physicians, dietitians, behavioral health specialists, and care coordinators) to implement coordinated, comprehensive care plans. - Adhere to clinical protocols including ROME IV criteria and AGA and ACG guidelines to ensure high-quality, evidence-based care delivery. - Document patient interactions accurately and timely within the EHR, maintaining thorough and compliant records. - Allocate approximately 30 hours per week to direct patient care and 10 hours to documentation, meetings, and administrative responsibilities. - This is not a traditional 9-5 role — scheduling includes a mix of early morning, evening, and weekend hours to meet patient access needs.
