Role Description The Relocation Consultant is primarily responsible for managing and delivering relocation services for transferees relocating within the US. Services include: - Policy counseling - Home sale and purchase assistance - Rental assistance - Temporary housing - Household goods and various other relocation related services The Consultant is the single point of contact and supports the transferee through all phases of the move. Essential Functions and Responsibilities - Administers all services consistent with client policy, cost and service performance standards - Proactively identifies and resolves potential relocation issues before impact - Provides appropriate guidance to transferee throughout the relocation - Coordinates services with suppliers through completion - Works with the service team to share information, execute client strategy and achieve team and client performance standards - Utilizes NuCompass technology and other tools to maximize productivity and deliver exceptional customer service - Coaches the transferee on utilizing our proprietary platform to facilitate their move activities Qualifications - Minimum 3 years applicable relocation and/or related industry experience - Demonstrated ability to relate well with customers - Technical aptitude and proficient in all Microsoft Office products - Basic financial analytical skills - Degree Preferred - Travel: 5%-10% Requirements Competencies - Communication: Effectively listens to customers to understand their needs and issues. Demonstrates strong communication skills. Uses well-developed written and verbal skills to communicate facts and ideas to transferees and clients with appropriate tone, style and clarity of thought. - Relationship Management: Demonstrated ability to engage with clients, suppliers and customers in a variety of situations, including issue resolution. Role Description The Facilities Assessment Consultant performs condition assessments of building systems and supporting site infrastructure, with a primary focus on mechanical systems. This role involves traveling with a team of professional assessors to inspect a wide variety of facility types, ranging from schools and hospitals to airports, laboratories, and historic government buildings. Key Responsibilities - Review client documentation prior to and during inspections (drawings, reports, maintenance records, etc.). - Perform visual inspections of building systems including HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, controls, and distribution systems. - Evaluate system conditions using professional judgment, including conformance with client standards and applicable codes related to accessibility, life safety, energy, and sustainability where required. - Collaborate with client facilities staff to understand operations, capital investments, and functional needs. - Use tablets and mobile data-collection software to document findings and support condition assessments with photographic evidence. - Develop replacement and corrective cost estimates using Gordian cost libraries and vendor research when necessary. - Document findings in Gordian’s asset management and capital planning software. - Perform individual quality assurance to ensure findings are accurate, complete, and aligned with project scope. - Support client inquiries by providing clarification and guidance related to assessment findings.
