Mindrift is looking for skilled n8n Workflow Developers to join the Tendem project (https://tendem.ai/) and contribute to building and optimizing automation workflows within our hybrid AI + human system. In this role, as an AI Pilot – that’s how we refer to this position at Mindrift – you’ll collaborate with Tendem Agents that handle repetitive tasks, while you provide structured thinking, automation expertise, and quality control to ensure efficient and reliable workflow execution. This part-time remote opportunity is ideal for professionals with hands-on experience in no-code automation, workflow design, and process optimization across business systems. Our mission is to unlock the potential of Generative AI by tapping into real-world expertise from across the globe. About the Role This is a freelance role for a Tendem project. As an n8n Workflow Developer, you'll design, build, and optimize automation pipelines in self-hosted environments, integrating multiple systems and AI capabilities to support scalable and efficient workflows. Key Responsibilities - Design, build, and evaluate advanced workflows in self-hosted n8n environments. - Architect multi-system integrations for scalable automation pipelines. - Develop and optimize AI-powered workflows (e.g., content generation, automation pipelines, enrichment systems). - Build and maintain lead generation, outreach, and data processing automation systems. - Implement web scraping workflows and ensure reliable data extraction and processing. - Optimize workflow execution, node sequencing, and error handling to prevent failures, delays, and API timeouts. Compensation On this project, contributors can earn up to $60 per hour equivalent, depending on their level and pace of contribution. Compensation varies across projects depending on scope, complexity, and required expertise. Please note that other projects on the platform may offer different earning levels based on their requirements.

Job Requirements

  • At least 3 years of relevant experience in automation engineering, workflow development, integrations, or software development (required).
  • Bachelor's or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related technical fields is a plus.
  • Strong experience with n8n, including self-hosted setups and workflow orchestration.
  • Proven ability to design and manage complex automation systems across multiple tools and services.
  • Solid background in API integrations, webhooks, and multi-system data synchronization.
  • Experience with web scraping, data extraction, and handling structured/unstructured data (JSON, CSV, APIs).
  • Demonstrated experience working with self-hosted automation infrastructure and scaling workflow systems.
  • Experience integrating AI tools (OpenAI, Claude, or similar) into automation pipelines.
  • Strong understanding of API limits, execution patterns, and workflow optimization techniques.
  • Experience building reliable scraping pipelines or using tools like Apify.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to workflow reliability and data accuracy.
  • Self-directed work ethic with the ability to troubleshoot and optimize systems independently.
  • Portfolio or examples of n8n workflows or automation systems is a plus.
  • English proficiency: Upper-intermediate (B2) or above (required).

We are looking for an ECM Application Support professional to help support and improve our document management systems, including FileNet and OnBase. This role supports systems used every day by the business. You will help keep applications running smoothly, fix issues, and support new requests. You will work closely with business partners and other IT team members in a team-based environment. This role supports production systems, helps with system changes, and provides advanced support when issues come up.
