More about the role Job Summary As a Key Account Manager Professional Projects you will manage strategic relationships with key accounts to maximize opportunities in the lighting projects business to drive profitable growth and customer satisfaction. You will lead the design and implementation of lighting solutions that meet customer requirements while promoting Signify’s connected and sustainable innovations and coordinates cross-functional teams to ensure timely, high-quality project delivery. Key Areas of Responsibility - Manages assigned key accounts (Installers, general contractors, specifiers, project partners, end users) across the customer ecosystem. - Delivers sales targets, revenue growth, and profitability objectives within the assigned territory. - Builds and nurtures strong, multi-level relationships with key accounts and stakeholders (installers, contractors, specifiers, consultants) to influence product selection and secure specifications and to create pull for Signify’s innovations. Manages complex interactions across the customer ecosystem, including partners, alliances, and specifiers, ensuring alignment and collaboration across all phases of project development and delivery. - Collaborates with internal teams teams to tailor offerings and drives continuous improvement initiatives by gathering client feedback and implementing solutions. - Leads commercial discussions and negotiates contracts to maximize profitability and strengthen customer partnerships. - Promotes connected, digital, and sustainable lighting systems that address customer needs for efficiency, performance, and compliance. - Leads the end-to-end tender process for strategic projects, including identifying opportunities, coordinating internal resources, and preparing competitive submissions. Critical Experiences - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field, providing foundational knowledge in account management and strategic planning. - Minimum 5 years of experience in key account management or sales within the lighting, building, construction or related project ecosystem - Demonstrating success in managing complex customer relationships and driving profitable growth. - Experience working with specifiers, consultants, and contractors in a B2B environment (public and private sector). - Relevant sales or project management certifications are essential to validate skills in managing projects and strategic accounts effectively. - Appetite to achieve and can do mindset.
