Service Technicians play a critical role in supporting customers across the nation. This position involves approximately 60% travel to customer locations for system startup, maintenance, and troubleshooting of CV Technology-protected systems. Key Responsibilities - Commissioning of CV Technology explosion mitigation systems. - Verify the functionality of the CV Technology protection system - Providing familiarization training for plant personnel - Provide outstanding service to our clients - Emergency services in the event of system activation - Completion of written reports for any site visit; commissioning, maintenance, or emergency service. - Submitting personal expenses and booking travel accommodations - Quote spare parts and/or services Requirements - Job requires 60% travel to customer locations throughout North America (Normally 2-3 days per week). (required) - Instrumentation and controls experience (preferred) - Field service experience and/or mechanical experience (preferred) - Knowledge of electrical systems, controls and low voltage wiring (preferred) - 1-2 years heavy travel role experience highly preferred (preferred) - Excellent customer relations skills. As a Field Service Technician you are the ambassador of our company. Customer focus and customer friendliness are therefore absolute requirements. (required) - Good communications skills (required) - Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite, expense reporting and travel booking.
