We are seeking an experienced, commercially astute Sales Manager to drive our blueberry sales strategy across the US. This is a high-impact leadership role responsible for expanding market share, strengthening key retail relationships, and executing a regional strategy aligned with global objectives. The Sales Manager is the heartbeat of our Americas operation. You will bridge the gap between sales strategy and operational execution. You’ll manage seasonal sales plans on retail channel, attract new customers, nurture, build client relationships, and oversee the intricate logistics that ensure our blueberries arrive fresh and on time. *Not restricted location/state. (Within the US). Key Performance Outputs Sales & Program Management - Execute seasonal sales plans and manage the rate of sales for preferred customers. - Facilitate the selling of fruit into the correct market segments to maximize profit margins. - Provide actionable market insights and competitor analysis to the management team - New Business Development with any in market targeted marketing activities to support the development of the OZblu brand Supply Chain & Logistics Excellence - Coordinate end-to-end logistics for customers, ensuring strict adherence to "On-Time" delivery requirements. - Manage freight costs and maintain a competitive understanding of the freight market. - Collaborate with freight vendor partners to streamline the shipping process. Sales Administration & Finance - Manage the full lifecycle of the sales process in our ERP system. - Ensure accurate costing, acknowledge purchase orders, and manage account sales/debtors. - Assess and process claims with a fair and detail-oriented approach. Relationship Management - Act as the primary daily contact for clients, ensuring their needs are met with tact and discretion. - Support growers by providing real-time feedback on stock, pricing, and market conditions. - Collaborate with the marketing team on brand-building activities and sample benchmarking. Requirements What You Bring: - Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Logistics, International Trade or similar (ideal) - Proven track record as a Sales Manager within Fruit industry - Strong experience dealing with major retail chain - Deep understanding of fruit marketing and product knowledge - Strong commercial acumen with pricing and profitability management experience - Exceptional relationship-building skills - Target-driven mindset with resilience under pressure Highly organised, structured, and detail-oriented approach - Tech Savvy: Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel). Experience with NetSuite or iTrade will put you at the top of our list.
