Lead DevOps Engineer

• Support the successful design, configuration, and deployment of DERMS projects • Engage throughout the full lifecycle of assigned projects • Own technical deliverables during the entire lifecycle of the projects • Make standard recommendations on workflow, application, interface, reports, testing and uploads • Responsible for go-live readiness and support • Collaborate with internal team members and clients to ensure customer satisfaction • Technical Leadership of the DevOps methodology • Define success criteria and contribute to solution diagrams for the project • Document and design client-specific solution deployment requirements
Job Requirements
- 7+ years of enterprise application development, deployment, and integration experience
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, and/or GCP
- RHEL 8+ Linux OS and shell scripting
- Puppet, Ansible, Terraform, ArgoCD
- Docker, Kernel-based VM
- PostgresSQL, MariaDB, MongoDB
- Redis, Memcached, Nginx, HA Proxy, Apache
- Python, JSON, YAML, Bash, Git
- Infrastructure as Code scripting with Terraform, Ansible or cloud native (ARM, Cloud Formation)
- Monitoring tools for statistical analysis
- Knowledge of cyber security best practices
- Knowledge of DevSecOps
- Build and deploy experience of Docker containers using Helm Charts and YAML configurations
- Knowledge of security best practices, including authentication protocols, ACL rules, and Identity Management mechanisms
- Experience working with Azure, Windows and Linux Server, SQL Server, Active Directory, Azure Active Directory, Systems, and Infrastructure Automation Tools
- Excellent analytical skills
- Knowledge of Node.JS and Microservices
- Triage and debug any issues that arise during testing and production
- Automate testing across CI/CD and cloud infrastructure management
- Knowledge of secure code development

• Design, architect, and implement scalable, secure, and cost-efficient AWS infrastructure across multiple regions, aligned with the AWS Well-Architected Framework. • Build, maintain, and evolve all cloud infrastructure using Terraform, enforcing module reusability, remote state management, and IaC best practices across environments. • Own and optimize PostgreSQL database: including performance, scalability, and reliability. • Deploy, manage, and optimize workloads on Kubernetes clusters using Helm and Kustomize. • Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions. • Lead DR planning, runbook creation, and failure scenario modeling — including database backup and recovery strategies. • Support and unblock engineering teams on infrastructure and database needs. • Operate and improve monitoring, logging, and alerting systems — including database-specific monitoring (query performance, replication health, connection saturation) — to ensure high availability and fast incident response. • Participate in and help improve the weekly on-call rotation.
