Job Description

Scanner Engineer

Element Logic®

• Install, test, and optimize scanners at customer sites. • Diagnose issues, calibrate equipment, and ensure smooth integration with conveyors and control systems. • Own the on-site deployment process from setup to full performance readiness. • Collaborate closely with Controls Engineers and customer teams. • Advise management regarding customer satisfaction and product performance.

Job Requirements

  • 1 – 2 years relevant experience in Electrical and Controls.
  • Associate's Degree in electrical disciplines and programming (two-year college or technical school) or equivalent experience.
  • Ability to read schematics/electrical prints.
  • Demonstrated electrical and mechanical aptitude.
  • Ability to write script programs for the scanners.
  • Ability to program PLCs and troubleshoot systems.
  • Ability to understand different types of barcode symbology and recommend the right scanner based on the application.
  • Must possess good written & spoken English, Spanish a plus.
