Business Development Manager

Role Description The Business Development Manager is responsible for the pursuit of projects in space rental and permanent modular construction. This role reports to the General Manager, Quebec & Ottawa, and is best aligned for someone on a professional selling track with experience in consultative selling to promote ATCO's value proposition. - Manage assigned territory and be responsible for achieving an annual revenue target. - Develop proposals and RFP responses and carry out the life cycle of the pursuit from inception to award. - Review, analyze and interpret various forms of construction contracts and associated risk profiling. - Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and client meetings. - Track, monitor and analyze market trends and conditions and adapt as required. Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree or technical diploma required; Engineering, Design, Construction Management or related preferred. - 5+ years of technical sales experience in construction, engineering design, or related industry preferred. - Desire to take accountability and progressively advance a career with a proven industry leader. - High performer who shares ATCO’s core values and seeks to be part of a driven team. - Effective communicator who is solutions-oriented with an entrepreneurial drive. - Ability to travel within Canada; international travel, including the US, is an asset.
