Position Overview: We are seeking a Senior Business Analyst with over 7 years of experience in implementing projects for enterprise systems (ERPs, CRMs, FSM, etc.) and a strong background in the utilities/energy/telecom or similar industries. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in analyzing client business processes, identifying requirements, and implementing solutions to enhance operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities: Requirements Gathering and Analysis: - Engage with clients to understand and document their business processes, needs, and objectives related to field service operations. - Analyze and translate business requirements into functional specifications for enterprise solutions. - Conduct gap analyses to identify areas where current systems fall short of client needs. Solution Design and Implementation: - Collaborate with technical teams to design solutions that align with client requirements and industry best practices. - Assist in configuring and customizing tools to meet specific client needs. - Develop and execute test plans to ensure solutions meet specified requirements and quality standards. Stakeholder Communication and Management: - Serve as a liaison between clients, project managers, and technical teams to ensure clear communication and alignment throughout the project lifecycle. - Facilitate workshops and meetings to gather requirements, present solutions, and obtain stakeholder buy-in. - Prepare and deliver presentations and reports to clients and internal stakeholders. Process Improvement and Optimization: - Identify opportunities to enhance client business processes through the effective use of FSM solutions. - Recommend best practices and innovative solutions to improve field service operations and efficiency. - Monitor solution performance and suggest enhancements based on data analysis and client feedback. Testing - Hands on experience writing detailed user stories, test cases and executing tests. Should have an eye for details and be familiar with arduous test cases. - Experience logging, tracking, prioritizing and validating defects. - Experience guiding new users through individual and collaborative UAT sessions. - Should be familiar with navigating difficult conversations with users when bugs are uncovered or business needs are deprioritized for the scope of the project. Training and Support: - Develop training materials and conduct training sessions for clients to ensure successful adoption of enterprise solutions. - Provide ongoing support to clients’ post-implementation to address issues and optimize solution usage Educational Qualifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field. - Advanced degree (MBA or Master’s) is preferred. Required Skills and Experience: - Minimum of 7 years of experience as a Business Analyst, with a focus on Enterprise/Field Service Management solutions. - Demonstrated experience in requirements gathering, process analysis, and solution implementation. - Familiarity with business integration requirements across technology stack (ERP, CRM, CIS, BI, Datawarehouse, etc.) - Hands-on experience with SQL to access, retrieve, manipulate, and analyze data. - Strong understanding of utility operations, asset management, and regulatory compliance. - Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and propose effective solutions. - Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with clients and stakeholders at all levels. - Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines. - Ability to travel to client site (domestic and(or) international) as required and defined per project requirements. Preferred Skills: - Consulting background with experience in client-facing roles and managing stakeholder relationships. - Proficiency in using FSM software platforms a plus. - Familiarity with GIS integration and mobile workforce management solutions. - Knowledge of emerging technologies such as IoT, AI, and Machine Learning as they apply to Field Service Management. - Professional certifications related to Business Analysis (e.g., CBAP) or Project Management (e.g., PMP). The salary range for this position is provided in good faith and is subject to variation based on geographic location, candidate experience, and market conditions.
