Title: Lead Software Engineer Location: Remote - Florida Job Description: ProAg has an exciting opportunity for a Lead Software Engineer to join our team. When viewed from 30,000 feet, the Lead Software Engineer role serves the product team, the scrum team, and architecture team. It does so by providing sizings to product owners and technical leadership to a scrum team. Your mission will be to ensure that your team is always sprinting. This position will be in ProAg’s Maple Grove, MN office. Employees report to the office Monday – Thursday, with Friday being an optional remote day. In This Exciting Opportunity You Will: - Provide Level of Effort estimates (sizings), document risks and assumptions and complete a prototype if needed. - Design your scrum team’s technical solutions. - Work with the DevOps team to release your team’s products. - Enforce industry standards and best practices for your team. - Collaborate with our Solutions Architecture team. What You’ll Bring: - 6 years significant, relevant, and progressive professional experience - At least a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, or a related field, or the equivalent education and/or experience. - Minimum of 4 years’ experience in leadership, including strategic planning and setting technical direction. - Experience in .NET (framework and core), C#, Javascript, React, Postgress, SQL Server, and Microservice and Event-Driven Architecture. - Demonstrated Design and Development Experience - Experience with the following: software modeling, data modeling, performance tuning, and application monitoring. - Excellent written and verbal communications skills with an emphasis on confidentiality, tact, and diplomacy.
