We are seeking an Associate to join Cigna Ventures, the strategic venture fund of The Cigna Group. This highly motivated self-starter will support the team in a variety of capacities across sourcing, evaluating and executing investment opportunities, engaging portfolio companies, and overall fund administration. Additionally, the Associate will interact extensively with internal business leaders and key stakeholders across The Cigna Group to drive strategic alignment and post-investment execution. Key Responsibilities: Sourcing and Pipeline - Proactively identify new investment themes and develop/maintain relevant strategic theses to guide sourcing efforts - Develop strong relationships across The Cigna Group to understand strategic priorities and initiatives - Own and improve data-driven processes for managing our deal pipeline - Qualify opportunities according to Cigna Ventures’ criteria via initial contact, data gathering/assessment, and establishing relationships with founders Due Diligence - Evaluate and assess information from potential companies and internal/external experts - Lead key parts of rigorous investment diligence (e.g., market, financial and valuation analysis) - Draft highly polished investment memos and other materials Qualifications: - Bachelor’s degree - 3+ years of relevant experience in consulting, venture capital, and/or investment banking (background in healthcare services preferred) Skills and Competencies: - Detail-Oriented: self-starter with ability to successfully operate in a fast-paced, complex environment - Critical Thinking and Intellectual Curiosity: superior research, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities - Highly Collaborative: successfully operate across multiple work streams and levels of leadership - Excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to quickly gather and synthesize information into clear, concise, and actionable messaging. - Ability to build meaningful relationships with entrepreneurs, investors, and other stakeholders About Cigna Ventures: Cigna Ventures is the strategic venture fund of The Cigna Group Corporation, a leading global health service company with more than 190 million customer relationships in more than 30 countries. For this position, we anticipate offering an annual salary of 114,100 - 190,100 USD / yearly, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location. • Design end-to-end user experiences within a product or POD, ensuring usability, clarity, and consistency • Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs for features and workflows • Work closely with Product Managers, Engineers, and Researchers to align on scope, feasibility, and timelines • Leverage and contribute to design systems, patterns, and standards

• Design interaction flows, wireframes, and interactive prototypes for desktop and mobile applications. • Deliver prototypes of varying fidelity — from low-fidelity click-throughs to polished interactive prototypes in Figma. • Produce high-fidelity mockups in Figma that adhere to Premier's design system and visual standards. • Participate in design critiques, incorporating feedback from peers and design leadership. • Collaborate closely with product managers and developers throughout the project lifecycle. • Follow the user-centered design process and principles as directed by design leadership. • Maintain consistency with interaction design standards and flag potential exceptions to design leadership. • Seek opportunities to improve the user experience while maintaining alignment with established design patterns. • Actively build working relationships within the UX team and across product and development teams.

• Deliver excellence by upholding a high bar for design craft, strategic thinking, and execution. • Define the mood, tone, look, and feel for future products and translate them into high-quality prototypes. • Elevate visual design standards across various outputs, from consumer-facing apps to patient-journey storytelling. • Provide thought leadership to ensure the organization stays ahead of emerging technologies and trends. • Present and persuasively communicate design rationale to stakeholders at all levels. • Craft engaging interfaces balancing aesthetics with usability across platforms like web, mobile, and kiosk. • Develop strong visual identities and early-stage experiences from scratch to spark excitement and alignment. • Connect teams to possible futures through artifacts ranging from paper sketches to polished interfaces.
