All Haas machine tools and rotary products are built to deliver high accuracy, repeatability and durability. We are currently seeking an adventurous and diligent Field Service Technician. This role will provide exciting opportunities to work for a multifaceted company in a fast-paced, growing industry. - HFO Chicago is a division of Morris Group, Inc., one of the largest machine tool distribution networks in North America. - This role does require travel to our customer facilities. We provide a company vehicle and all gas expenses on behalf of the company are paid for. Job Responsibilities The CNC Technician needs to have strong mechanical and electrical proficiency, to be able to troubleshoot and repair CNC equipment. This position reports directly to the Service Manager. Duties include, but are not limited to: - Traveling to customer sites to install, fix, repair and maintain machine tool equipment and controls for customer’s organizations (Company provided vehicle & gas for travel paid for by the company) - Using on-line technical documents, manuals and vendor resources to research machine issues - Ensuring accurate documentation is completed and submitted to office and customer in regards to status of machine issues, repairs, and installation - Promoting and performing preventative maintenance on customer machine tool equipment and conducting after-sales technical support and training - Possessing and maintaining an in-depth knowledge of machine tool industry and product lines represented by the company - Training in CNC repair and Haas equipment is part of the on-boarding process, with factory certification within the first year. Job Qualifications and Proficiencies: - Demonstrated ability in mechanical/electrical repair or engineering desired. CNC Repair background a plus. - Ability to read and interpret drawings and schematics is required. - Software experience, like Microsoft office, is a plus (this position does require the use of a laptop, smart phone and various software applications) - Excellent technical, communication, and presentation skills are a must. - The CNC Technician must be able to meet the physical requirements of the job, regularly lifting 40-50 pounds. - This position requires flexible hours and frequent travel and driving throughout a regional territory. You will be dispatched each day from your home, and the travel to customer’s sites to work. The Functional Eligibility Specialist, as part of the Behavioral Health and Utilization Department, evaluates eligibility for frail elders, adults with physical disabilities and adults with intellectual/developmental disabilities. Reporting to the Functional Eligibility Supervisor, this role ensures timely and accurate member eligibility determinations in accordance with organizational policies and procedures, while meeting Department of Health Services (DHS) contract requirements. The Functional Eligibility Specialist is responsible for conducting accurate, consistent, and detailed functional assessments. These assessments serve as the foundation for the Comprehensive Strength Based Assessment completed by care management staff, provide a basis for care planning activities based upon Lakeland Care, Inc.’s (LCI) policies and procedures, and directly influence the organization’s capitation. Key duties include conducting thorough functional assessments, supporting care planning, and meeting members in person to complete the Long-Term Care Functional Screen (LTCFS) and other evidence-based tools. Essential Competencies: - Timely completion of the LTCFS with members, Legal Representatives, Providers, Natural Supports per organizational policies. - Motivational interviewing with all applicable parties to discern information to complete the screen and validate screen findings. - Determine the amount of assistance a member requires to complete tasks safely. - To support member care, conduct evidence-based screenings and effectively communicate the results per policy. - Objectively determine the correlation between members’ current medical diagnosis and their functional abilities. - Achieve and maintain certification to administer the LTCFS to include passing the State’s Continuing Skills Test. - Maintain contemporary knowledge to ensure compliance with Federal and State regulations. - Exhibit maturity, resiliency and sound judgement when dealing with challenging conversations. - Demonstrate emotions appropriate to the situation and continue to perform steadily and effectively. - Coordinate and participate in meetings with the Interdisciplinary Team (IDT) staff to discuss the screen findings. - Participate in the organization’s Functional Screen Quality Management Program. - Maintain the confidentiality of client information and protected health information as required by State and Federal regulations, including the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability (HIPAA) Act of 1996. Requirements - Have a bachelor’s degree or more advanced degree in a health or human services related field required or current license to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN) in Wisconsin pursuant to Wis. Performance maintenance and setup work on all Bevcorp products including, but not limited to, Capping, Filling, Seaming, and Blending machinery. Set up and adjust machines, in the field and in our Bevcorp facilities, to equipment specifications. Troubleshoot and repair machinery mechanically (hydraulic/pneumatic) and electronically. Perform checks and setup of chucks and rolls. Perform machine audits, repairs, and preventative scheduled maintenance. Install, commission, and set up Bevcorp products in customer facilities. Diagnose problems, dismantle machines, replace defective parts, and reassemble machines. Identify and articulate root cause problem statements while troubleshooting. Perform all duties in accordance with JBT safety policies and procedures while maintaining a safety-focused work mentality. Changeover and setup change parts running clearance and timing. Complete service reports timely. Provide training to customers and coworkers alike. Follow high quality assembly practices while performing job duties. Travel, sometimes nights and weekends, up to 100%, depending on location of team member residence. Schedule may fluctuate due to business need/priority, any change to schedule will be provided at least 2 weeks in advance. Complete safety initiatives as required within JBT expectations (BBSO's, Near Misses, etc.). Cross-training is an expectation and when applicable, provide training to customers and coworkers alike. Basic computer skills - including iPad and smart phone, use of email, Word, Excel, etc. Intermediate level of experience with AUTO CAD Mechanical and Electrical. Experience serving customers and working as a team to achieve success. Experience working on Angelus seamers, Bevcorp Blenders or Fillers, CSI Capping, preferred. Manufacturing experience in food and beverage industry preferred. Valid U.S. Driver's License. SKILLS AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS High level of dedication to safety and quality.
