Partner Engagement Manager
Onebrief
• Own the entire customer relationship, from users up to General Officers. • Understand the evolving nature of the staff ecosystem, and where our product best fits to support the warfighter. • Clearly communicate user needs to the product team. Maintain a high product proficiency, and excite the customer about each product improvement. • Instill the Onebrief brand image. • Enable our expansion within the Army. • Lead or support exercises. • Use your observations of our users to recommend product improvements. • Provide face-to-face and remote customer support. • Develop an understanding of programmatic development to ensure Onebrief remains a critical component of the NGC2 ecosystem. • When responding to incidents (product is unavailable, broken, or not delighting the customer), coordinate with the customer and our product engineering team. • Interact with other industry partners, build relationships, and understand the system of systems.
Job Requirements
- Proven experience in leading operational planning within a military context, preferably at multi-star headquarters.
- Advanced military education or other relevant experience
- Familiarity and experience with major military planning exercises and the protocols for software deployment on classified networks.
- Proven ability to expand business presence within a region, with emphasis on software or technology solutions.
- Experience in customer support, both face-to-face and remote, and capability to respond to incidents coordinating with customers and product engineering teams.
- Strong technical skills to master our application, troubleshoot issues and liaise with customers on technical matters.
- Proven ability to navigate large government organizations, solve bureaucratic challenges, and deliver successful outcomes.
- You hold a current Top Secret clearance with eligibility for SCI and have the ability to access DOD facilities and installations.

• Partner with Product, UX, Engineering, and Support to deeply understand features, workflows, and customer pain points, embedding documentation into the product development lifecycle, not after release. • Own the strategy, structure, and execution of Total Expert’s documentation ecosystem, including user guides, in-product help, release notes, internal enablement materials, and knowledge base content. • Design and maintain scalable documentation systems, templates, and content standards that support rapid iteration and platform growth. • Leverage AI tools and automation to accelerate content creation, updates, and reuse (e.g., generating drafts from PRDs, Jira tickets, or specs; summarizing changes; maintaining consistency). • Ensure documentation is clear, actionable, and aligned with user mental models, working closely with UX to support onboarding, discoverability, and in-product education patterns. • Establish feedback loops with Customer Support, CS, and internal teams to continuously identify documentation gaps and opportunities for improvement. • Measure documentation effectiveness using qualitative feedback and quantitative signals (support deflection, search success, adoption indicators). • Collaborate with Product Marketing to ensure documentation aligns with launches, positioning, and customer-facing narratives. • Champion high standards for clarity, accuracy, accessibility, and governance across all documentation efforts. • Serve as the functional owner of Pendo and in-product guidance strategy, partnering cross-functionally to deliver scalable onboarding, contextual documentation, and adoption insights across the platform.
