Supply Chain Availability Specialist Location: Remote Base Salary Rate: $101,000.00 - $110,000.00 Job type: Full-time About This Role The Supply Chain Availability Specialist ensures consistent product availability for Edwards & Kidde Commercial UL by monitoring supply, managing inventory health, and coordinating with suppliers and internal teams. The role supports customer service goals and operational performance globally. Ensuring material availability to support top line growth. Key Responsibilities - Monitor product availability and identify supply risks or shortages - Partner with Procurement, Planning, and Manufacturing to resolve supplier and production constraints - Maintain accurate supply parameters (lead times, safety stock, replenishment settings) - Support customer service escalations and communicate expected recovery timelines - Drive root‑cause analysis and support corrective actions - Supply Chain Exception Lead - Define risks to supply and revenue associated with sustaining engineering projects - Define risks to supply and revenue associated with supplier constraints Basic Qualifications - High School Diploma or Equivalent - 5+ years of experience in supply chain, inventory planning, or logistics - OR - Bachelor’s Degree - 2+ years of experience in supply chain, inventory planning, or logistics Preferred Qualifications - Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics or Operations Management - Experience managing product availability, in-stock rates, or service levels across distribution networks - Familiarity with inventory planning, replenishment, and safety stock strategies - Experience with ERP or planning systems like SAP, Oracle ERP, or similar - Proven ability to identify root causes of stockouts or overstock situations and drive corrective actions - Experience monitoring and improving KPIs such as fill rate, forecast accuracy, and inventory turns - Ability to manage multiple SKUs or categories in a fast-paced environment - Experience partnering with demand planning, logistics, and suppliers - Ability to translate data into actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders - Comfortable influencing decisions without direct authority - Experience optimizing supply chain processes or workflows - Familiarity with continuous improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma - Excellent verbal, written and listening communication skills - Proactive and self-initiating work style - Adaptable analytical skill set - Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and across organizational boundaries to reach consensus - Work experience in procurement or strategic sourcing related job highly preferred Compensation and Benefits Individuals may be eligible for an annual performance bonus based on both individual and company’s performance.
