You’ll work closely with engineering, design, sales, marketing, and cloud/technology partners to turn customer problems into differentiated roadmap outcomes—shipping capabilities that improve resiliency, recovery performance, security, and operational simplicity. This is a hands-on role for a product leader who can dive deep into cloud architectures and database internals, move fast, and consistently deliver. What You'll Do... - Product Vision - Define and drive product strategy, direction, and a multi-release roadmap for protecting: - Cloud AI platforms and services (e.g., Amazon SageMaker, Amazon Bedrock, and emerging managed AI services) - Vector databases (e.g., Pinecone, Milvus, Weaviate, pgvector) - NoSQL databases across on-prem and cloud (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra, DynamoDB, Cosmos DB) and other modern data services - Identify new opportunities driven by GenAI/ML adoption, vector search, and modern cloud architectures—and translate them into shipped product outcomes - Turn customer needs, field feedback, and partner requirements into clear, differentiated capabilities and crisp PRDs/user stories - Lead Product Execution - Own the end-to-end product lifecycle—from discovery and validation to launch, adoption, and continuous improvement—delivering roadmap commitments with an agile mindset - Work closely with engineering on architecture, design decisions, and trade-offs - Define requirements for cloud-native protection and recovery - Ensure solutions meet enterprise standards for scalability, reliability, security, and performance - Engage Customers and the Market - Partner directly with enterprise customers and design partners - Lead competitive analysis and product positioning - Support go-to-market efforts with sales and marketing - Partner with sales teams to drive product success—supporting pipeline creation, enablement, competitive wins, and customer expansion with clear messaging and playbooks - Represent the product in customer briefings, industry events, and analyst discussions Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, or related technical discipline - 8+ years of product management or engineering experience (or equivalent technical leadership) in enterprise software, cloud platforms, databases, and/or data protection - Hands-on experience with public cloud (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and protecting/operating cloud workloads, including identity/IAM, networking, encryption/KMS, and cloud-native APIs - Hands-on experience administering, building on, or integrating with at least one modern database platform (vector and/or NoSQL) such as Pinecone, Milvus/Weaviate, MongoDB, Cassandra, DynamoDB, or Cosmos DB - Working knowledge of cloud AI/ML platforms and services (e.g., Amazon SageMaker, Amazon Bedrock) and the data flows that power AI applications - Ability to engage engineering teams at a detailed architectural level, write clear requirements, and make trade-offs across security, performance, reliability, and usability - Strong cross-functional leadership and communication skills, with experience partnering with sales and customer-facing teams to drive adoption and revenue outcomes Preferred Skills & Experience - MBA preferred. - Experience protecting large-scale, multi-terabyte or multi-petabyte database environments - Experience with AI/ML data pipelines and vector search architectures. - Familiarity with Kubernetes, containerized workloads, and infrastructure-as-code. - Experience with SaaS or multi-tenant data platforms. - Knowledge of compliance requirements (SOC2, GDPR, HIPAA, etc.). Benefits - Continuous professional development, product training, and career pathing - An inclusive company culture, opportunity to join our Employee Groups - Generous benefits supporting your health, financial security, and work-life balance - Employee stock purchase plan (ESPP)
