General Dynamics
• Lead Deployment & Environment Operations overseeing manual and automated code and configuration deployments • Own and advance the Toolchain including administering and optimizing FlexDeploy and GitLab • Drive DevSecOps vision in partnership with Security to define and evolve a forward-looking DevSecOps roadmap • Deliver results, not just plans by translating strategy into short execution cycles with visible outcomes • Build, mentor, and elevate the team focusing on ownership, urgency, and continuous improvement • Demonstrate strong executive engagement and influence in stakeholder discussions
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or related field or equivalent hands-on experience in similar business critical, large-scale application environment.
- 8+ years of experience in DevOps, Release Engineering, or DevSecOps roles.
- 3+ years of leadership experience managing technical teams.
- Strong hands-on experience with CI/CD pipeline design and automation.
- Direct experience administering and optimizing FlexDeploy (or comparable enterprise release orchestration tools).
- Strong working knowledge of GitLab, including branching strategies, merge controls, CI/CD, and pipeline governance.
- Deep understanding of segregation of duties, change management, and environment controls.
- Demonstrated ability to define and track operational KPIs.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with executive-level stakeholders.
- Competency with Microsoft Office products.
- Candidate must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance and must have lived in the United States at least three (3) out of the last five (5) years.
