Primary Responsibilities: - Assess entity-specific environments (acquired entities/micro-acquisitions), maturity levels, and gaps against Security Shield 2.0 requirements - Partner with engineering, IT, and security teams to drive consistent adoption of required controls - Tailor onboarding playbooks and timelines to diverse infrastructure and technical ecosystems - Manage integration programs through: - Technical design - Implementation - Testing and validation - Cutover and transition to operations - Coordinate with engineering and operations teams to ensure smooth handoff and sustainment - Provide engineering consulting and implementation expertise in support of new initiatives - Solid ability to collaborate, delegate tasks and drive deadline compliance in a highly regulated, time sensitive environment - Identify deficiencies in processes and tools, recommend security controls and/or corrective actions for mitigating technical and business risk. Contribute to Lessons Learned Meetings - Hold stakeholders accountable for remediation actions - Providing training and guidance through complex solutioning/remediation - Integrate and collaborate with other subject matter experts throughout the organization - Liaison with additional stakeholders across the security team, business, and acquired entities - Influence the creation and/or adoption of new standards and procedures You’ll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear directions on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in. Required Qualifications: - High School Diploma/GED - 2+ years of experience working with Acquired Entity Security - 2+ years of experience in identifying cybersecurity risk and prioritizing remediation - 2+ years of Cyber Security Analyst experience in any of the following areas: - Attack Surface Reduction - Active Directory - Cybersecurity threat detection, monitoring and reporting - Vulnerability Management - Intermediate level of experience analyzing attack vectors, current threats, and security remediation strategies - Intermediate level of experience in Active Directory/Entra ID - Intermediate level of experience with high level of familiarity with compliance regulations (PCI, HIPPA, etc.) - Willing or ability to work off shift hours if needed (e.g. Nights and Weekends) Preferred Qualifications: - Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience - CISSP, CISA, GCIH, CEH, CHFI, CCSP, SEC+, Net+, A+ - PowerShell, KQL, or Python scripting experience - Understanding of NIST 800-61 *All Telecommuters will be required to adhere to UnitedHealth Group’s Telecommuter Policy. The salary for this role will range from $91,700 to $163,700 annually based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
