Senior Digital Video Specialist
Gray Media
• Act as advanced support for the rest of the support team and the primary point of contact with partners on high-level issue resolution and workflow edge-cases, primarily focused on digital video • Communicate resolutions internally and externally • Act as a liaison to the digital technology team for bug fixes and feature requests • Manage and support partner platforms, including but not limited to ArcXP and Quickplay • Configure video stream/playout/channels • Update XOS encoder HLS credentials as needed • Define parameters for stations and properties in QuickPlay • General station support • Onboard new products • Participate in special projects as needed • Participate in weekday on-call support as needed
Job Requirements
- Education: College degree or equivalent job experience in digital systems.
- Must have proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite, web-based CMS user interfaces, and digital platforms.
- Knowledge of HLS video manifest composition
- Knowledge of video signal flow, encoding parameters
- Knowledge of video encoding hardware
- Must have a positive attitude, strong interpersonal skills, and be willing to learn a variety of digital systems.
- Experience: 3+ years of digital experience on a broadcast team is a plus.
- Forward-looking approach to tasks and assignments.
- Strong desire for continued growth and learning.
