The Clinical Excellence Trainer is responsible for on-the-job coaching, focusing on teaching specific areas of knowledge to be clinical, clerical, and provider positions in medical practice to drive medical margin, including healthcare systems (e.g. EHR, telehealth, pre-registration, etc.) and best organizational practices. The Trainer will analyze data related to workflow, processes, and reporting to evaluate the efficiency of current-state business processes and will implement changes to improve provider experience on Mosaic's platforms.‎ How will you make an impact & Requirements ‎ Responsibilities - Travel to all practice locations, including newly acquired sites, to deliver impactful training, observe operations, and validate efficiencies through various coaching methodologies, particularly during the critical initial phases of integration. - Facilitate remote training sessions for new providers and lead interactive workshops designed to convey essential information and gather valuable feedback for operational improvements. - Conduct hands-on observations of clinic workflows to provide actionable feedback that supports monthly reporting and drives improvement toward organizational goals. - Review provider notes and communication to ensure adherence to best practices and quality standards, addressing any discrepancies with the Supervisor to resolve at the practice level. - Create and deliver educational materials to implement new and updated workflows and best practices to care teams, utilizing Mosaic's EMR to enhance procedural efficacy and medical margin. - Collaborate with clinical staff to identify skill gaps and provide targeted support to ensure alignment with Mosaic's best practices. - Engage in regular skill assessments and coaching improvement sessions, ensuring ongoing professional development and the adoption of up-to-date practices within the organization. - Partner with Super Users to provide coaching and support, equipping them with the knowledge necessary to train their peers and drive process enhancements in their respective clinics. - Offer comprehensive support to established offices, providing both remote assistance and onsite guidance as needed to ensure operational success. - Work alongside Quality, Risk, and Coding Educators to support Value-Based Programs, integrating best practices into clinic operations. - Maintain clear and open lines of communication with the Supervisor, relaying concerns or questions from office staff regarding quality and coding workflows. - Identify opportunities for workflow enhancements, including operational changes or external developments that could positively impact provider experiences with Millennium platforms. - Collaborate with leadership to assess coaching needs through metrics, reports, and discussions, ensuring effective assimilation of practices into Mosaic's culture. - Work closely with Learning & Development, Integrations, Innovation, and Clinical Systems teams to drive continuous improvement across the organization. - Collaborate with leadership to request and develop new or updated coaching materials that align with current practices and organizational goals. - Serve as an exemplary role model for new clinical and clerical staff, demonstrating adherence to Millennium Best Practices and proper documentation standards as care teams transition into their new workflows. - Work collaboratively with staff during the integration training process, providing both clerical and clinical support while troubleshooting workflows and system usage challenges. - Compile and report findings from all coaching and site visits, delivering comprehensive status reports to leadership to highlight successes and identify areas for improvement. - Exhibit exceptional customer service skills when interacting with internal team members and patients, fostering a positive workplace culture. - Demonstrate excellent guest service to internal team members and patients. - Perform other related duties as assigned. Qualifications - An associate's degree in a relevant field is required; a bachelor's degree is a plus - 3+ years of experience in a medical practice organization - Preferred credentials include CMA/RMA or LPN - Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and database software - Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR), preferably with Athena - Strong understanding of Value-Based programs (e.g., HCC, Quality Measures) - Excellent planning, time management, and multitasking abilities - Commitment to continuous learning and expanding personal knowledge base - Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, along with strong interpersonal abilities to inspire and engage learners - Creative problem-solving skills to develop innovative solutions for contemporary learners' needs - High levels of empathy and an understanding of effective teaching methodologies, with a willingness to stay updated on new teaching techniques - Strong collaboration and teamwork skills are essential - Requires travel of up to 80% of the time - Ability to quickly adapt to new situations as they arise - Capable of working independently in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment - Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment Physical Demands Sedentary work. Job Purpose The Provider Enrollment Associate is responsible for credentialing/enrolling new and established health care providers and maintenance of required information.
