JOB PURPOSE: The Data & Analytics Platform Administrator is responsible for the effective administration, stability, and continuous improvement of World Vision’s enterprise data and analytics platforms. The role ensures that platforms such as Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, and other current or future SaaSbased analytics solutions are secure, reliable, and optimized for performance and scalability. This position also provides technical advisory and support to domain administrators and stakeholders, enabling consistent, well-governed, and effective use of analytics platforms across the organization, contributing to data-driven decision-making and operational efficiency. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Platform Administration and Governance - Administer and maintain enterprise data and analytics platforms, ensuring availability, security, and compliance with organizational standards. - Implement and enforce governance practices including access management, usage policies, and platform configurations. - Support the evolution of platform capabilities in alignment with organizational needs and emerging technologies. Technical Support and Incident Management - Manage and resolve platform-related incidents, service requests, and user issues in a timely and effective manner. - Act as a point of contact for platform users, ensuring a high standard of customer service and communication. - Coordinate with internal and external support teams as needed to resolve complex issues. Monitoring and Performance Management - Monitor system performance, usage, and health on a regular basis. - Analyze system metrics and trends to identify risks, issues, and opportunities for optimization. - Recommend and implement improvements to enhance platform performance and reliability. Automation and Advanced Administration - Utilize scripting and automation tools (e.g., PowerShell) to enhance administrative capabilities and operational efficiency. - Perform advanced configuration and management activities beyond standard platform interfaces. Advisory and Continuous Improvement - Provide guidance and advisory support to domain administrators and stakeholders on best practices in platform usage, governance, and solution design. - Enable domain admins to effectively manage and govern their respective areas through standardized approaches aligned with enterprise data and analytics practices. - Contribute to the continuous improvement of data and analytics services through proactive recommendations and innovation. - Support alignment of platform usage with enterprise data strategy and standards. Documentation, Training, and Knowledge Management - Develop and maintain documentation for processes, configurations, and incident resolutions. - Contribute to knowledge management initiatives, including creation of reusable knowledge base materials. - Provide training and guidance to users and domain administrators to support effective platform adoption.
