• Lead and manage a team driving data engineering projects across Notifications, Messaging, Hosting Services, and the Partner Ecosystem, ensuring high-quality data generation, ingestion, processing, and reporting capabilities. • Collaborate closely with the ML team to design and deliver robust data foundations (batch, intraday, streaming) that enable new product features, power AI/ML models, and fulfill real-time data needs. • Drive the development of key metrics across the C&C org, partnering with Analytics and Product to define, build, and govern the metrics that measure our business impact and product health. • Collaborate with Product, Analytics, ML, and Engineering to define and prioritize impactful data initiatives, identifying pain points and ensuring seamless data integration and high-quality, trusted data. • Streamline team practices, ensuring effective prioritization, execution, and clear communication of roadmap commitments. • Advocate for best engineering practices, including testing, monitoring, and continuous improvement. • Assess system health and data quality, identifying key areas for investment and scalability within the C&C data ecosystem. • Mentor and develop engineers, fostering an inclusive and high-performing team culture. • Align team priorities with organizational goals, partnering with senior leadership to drive execution and connect the dots between team efforts and broader company initiatives.

• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to a team of engineers through code reviews and design guidance. • Design, develop, and maintain full-stack applications using C#/.NET and TypeScript/React. • Build and integrate RESTful APIs and cloud-native solutions on AWS (Lambda, ECS, DynamoDB, etc.). • Drive architectural decisions and ensure alignment with best practices and technical standards. • Collaborate with Product Managers and Engineering leadership to deliver high-quality solutions. • Maintain and optimize CI/CD pipelines using tools such as GitLab Runner and Terraform. • Implement observability and monitoring solutions to ensure system performance and reliability. • Continuously improve platform capabilities by identifying modernization opportunities. • Participate in agile ceremonies and contribute to cross-team engineering initiatives. • Promote the use of modern development tools, including AI-assisted development practices.

Our Development Engineer will work out of our Midwest Division, with the ability to work from home on a daily basis. He/she will serve as the technical resource to our Sales & Operations Teams and be responsible for identifying, analyzing and developing solutions to address issues and needs related to customer facilities. They will lead projects through development and manage all resources to ensure the project is delivered on time. Candidates should be willing to travel to project sites 20%-30% of the time within the Midwest region. The salary range is $95,000-$125,000. The salary may vary within the range based on factors such as location of the role, and a candidate’s experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities. Development Engineer Level 3 Responsibilities - Conducts surveys of customer facilities and assess the current condition, operational performance and deficiencies of the building systems and infrastructure. - Coordinates site visits and project development activities of Facilities Technicians and specialty contractors. - Guide customers in prioritizing projects to improve functionality, operational performance and efficiencies of their facilities. - Develops and analyzes energy baselines for benchmarking. - Calculates energy and operations & maintenance savings associated with proposed improvements. - Ensures solution compliance with current energy and building codes. - Determines appropriate measurement and verification methodologies for developed improvements. - Works with the sales and operations teams, as well as consulting architects, engineers and contractors in developing the technical and financial components of the job to include accurate cost and savings estimates. - Participates in creation and delivery of written and oral presentations for customers. - Participates in the final customer presentation by leading the technical discussion and responding to questions by customer facility experts. - Works with subcontractors and consultants to ensure the quality of work is consistent with the requirements of the job. - Meets regularly with the sales and operations teams to review the performance of the customer contract and in turn participates in the preparation and delivery of customer progress reports. - Maintains an ongoing relationship with the customer, providing technical consultation on current and future facility needs. - Mentors Jr Engineers and new employees Development Engineer Level 3 Qualifications - 5-10 years experience in energy engineering, facilities engineering, design engineering - Technical College Degree - Proficient in Microsoft Office software including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. - General computer skills and proficiency on smart phone and tablet devices required. - Experience with BlueBeam REVU - Committed team player willing to plug in where needed. Physical Requirements - Ability to lift 20-pound tool and equipment bags. - Ability to safety climb ladders and move over uneven terrain as necessary to access facility equipment.
