What We're Looking For: We are looking for an experienced Senior Development Lead to lead and manage the development of custom .NET web applications and integration solutions for a new team. This role requires a technical expert with leadership skills who can collaborate with clients, oversee development efforts, and ensure high-quality delivery. The position requires an on-site presence during critical phases or based on client needs. Position Overview: The Senior Development Lead will oversee the design and delivery of custom software solutions. This role requires a strong technical background in .NET development, excellent leadership capabilities, and the ability to collaborate closely with clients and teams. The position involves ensuring project success through effective management and may require onsite presence during critical phases or as needed by clients. Key Responsibilities: - Lead the design, development, and delivery of custom .NET web applications tailored to client requirements. - Oversee integration development projects, connecting web applications with third-party APIs, enterprise platforms, and other systems. - Act as a liaison between clients and the development team, ensuring clear communication and alignment on goals. - Work with stakeholders to define technical requirements, timelines, and milestones. - Provide hands-on technical expertise in coding, debugging, and implementing solutions using .NET technologies. - Collaborate with offshore and onshore teams to manage deliverables and address project challenges. - Conduct code reviews to ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards. - Mentor and guide team members to foster a culture of technical excellence. - Be available onsite during critical project phases or client demands, ensuring smooth execution of deliverables. - Stay updated with emerging technologies and trends to propose innovative solutions. Job Requirements
- 5+ years of professional experience in custom .NET web application development.
- Strong experience with .NET Core, ASP.NET MVC, ADO.NET, Web API, and front-end technologies (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and modern frameworks like Angular/React).
- Proven expertise in integration development, including RESTful APIs, SOAP services, and middleware.
- Solid understanding of database management systems (e.g., SQL Server, PostgreSQL) and proficiency in writing SQL queries.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS for web application and integration services.
- Familiarity with containerization tools like Docker and orchestration platforms like Kubernetes.
- Knowledge of DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines and automated deployments.
- Experience with integration platforms like MuleSoft, Azure Logic Apps, or Dell Boomi.
- Experience in project and team management, with excellent leadership skills.
- Knowledge of Agile or Scrum development methodologies.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills, with experience in client-facing roles.
- Ability to work onsite as required, based on client or project needs.
- Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Certifications in .NET development, cloud technologies, or integration platforms are highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of software architecture patterns such as microservices, event-driven design, and domain-driven design (DDD) is highly desirable.
- Experience with performance tuning, load balancing, and optimizing web applications for scalability and reliability is highly desirable.
- Hands-on experience with secure coding practices and familiarity with frameworks like OWASP for mitigating vulnerabilities is highly desirable.
