Job Summary We are hiring a high-performing Sales Development Representative (SDR) for a remote cold calling job focused on booking appointments for residential solar consultations. This is a high-volume outbound sales role where success is driven by discipline, consistency, and the ability to follow a proven process. You will be responsible for engaging homeowners, qualifying them for solar programs, and scheduling consultations for the closing team. This role is ideal for candidates seeking remote sales jobs, entry-level SDR roles, or appointment setter positions with strong earning potential and career growth. Key Responsibilities - Make 300+ outbound calls daily using a power dialer - Qualify homeowners and book 2–4 appointments per day - Follow structured scripts and a proven sales process - Handle objections and build rapport with potential customers - Conduct follow-ups via calls and SMS to improve appointment show rates - Accurately log activities and notes in CRM systems - Consistently meet or exceed daily and weekly KPIs

Job Requirements

  • Must Have:
  • 1+ year experience in cold calling, appointment setting, or outbound sales
  • Fluent English with a clear, neutral accent
  • Spanish is a strong advantage
  • Ability to work U.S. Pacific Time (PST) hours
  • Reliable high-speed internet, headset, and quiet work environment
  • Comfortable with high-volume cold calling
  • Highly coachable and receptive to feedback through call reviews
  • Strong work ethic and consistency in hitting performance metrics
  • Nice to have:
  • Background in solar, home services, or call centers
  • Strong objection handling and rapport-building skills
  • Experience working in remote, KPI-driven environments

As a Senior Sales Development Representative, you are a hunter at heart, acting as Workiva’s initial point of contact with prospective customers. Working closely with Account Executives and Sales Managers, you drive critical pipeline growth for both existing customers and new prospects.
