We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead DevOps Engineer to design, implement, and maintain a secure, scalable, and reliable Modeling and Simulation (M&S) DevSecOps Platform for both cloud and on-premises environments. This role is critical to supporting the modernization, sustainment, and operational readiness of Mod and Sim systems, enabling seamless integration and scalability for Joint and Air Force training environments. The Lead DevOps Engineer will play a pivotal role in driving automation, ensuring compliance with DoD cybersecurity standards, and fostering collaboration across development, security, and operations teams. *This position is contingent upon contract award.* Responsibilities Platform Architecture & Implementation - Architect, implement, and configure the M&S DevSecOps Platform, including core platform services, to support cloud and on-premises deployments. - Design scalable and secure infrastructure solutions that meet the operational needs of Joint and Air Force training environments. Automation & Infrastructure as Code (IaC) - Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and management using IaC tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or equivalent. - Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines with integrated security tools (e.g., GitLab, SonarQube, Fortify) to ensure secure and efficient software delivery.
