OEM Data Partnerships Manager

• Define and execute the group's overall data partnerships strategy, aligned with the 5-year valuation objectives • Identify and approach data holders across the automotive industry: OEMs, insurers, DMS vendors, public institutions • Build a tailored narrative for each type of stakeholder - for OEMs, the value proposition is not financial but strategic (market protection, quality of the vehicle fleet) • Negotiate and close data partnerships giving us direct access to vehicle history via the VIN • Lead complex negotiations and long sales cycles with major industry players • Develop and maintain a network of key contacts across the European automotive ecosystem • Monitor industry players, technologies and regulatory evolutions (GDPR, vehicle data access rights) • Work with the Tech team to ensure smooth integration of new data sources • Set up and maintain dashboards to track KPIs linked to data partnerships • Represent the Data Partnerships function with the CEO and contribute to long-term strategic decisions
Job Requirements
- 15+ years of experience in the automotive industry or automotive data space
- Established network with OEMs and key industry players (insurers, DMS, public institutions)
- Has already negotiated and signed at least one data partnership with an OEM
- In-depth knowledge of the automotive data ecosystem: OEMs, DMS, insurance, public sources
- Strong understanding of contractual and regulatory frameworks around vehicle data (GDPR, data access, data sharing agreements)
- Ability to discuss integration topics with a technical team (APIs, data formats, data volumes)
- Solid analytical skills: KPI tracking, partnership performance measurement
- Strong commercial / biz dev mindset - you know how to convince and close
- Leadership and strategic vision: you can navigate long sales cycles and complex negotiations
- High autonomy: able to own a project from A to Z without micro-management
- Comfortable in an entrepreneurial environment where everything is to be built
- Excellent communication skills: you can adapt your discourse from an OEM executive to an integration engineer
- English: fluent (mandatory) - the market is European
- French: fluent (preferred) - a significant share of our business is in France
- German: a plus
