Back End Technical Consultant – Commerce and Content
TransPerfect
• Play a critical role in the technical design, development, and delivery of highly customized Commerce and Content systems for our customers. • Work effectively and corroboratively in small and large team environment. • Roll their sleeves up to deliver high quality code and technical documentation. • Wear many hats and adapt their operating mode to best serve the team. • Take initiative, work well with little guidance and loves solving tough problems.
Job Requirements
- Professional experience building and integrating enterprise systems
- Proficient with multiple programming languages such as Java, PHP and Node.js
- Strong understanding of web technologies and integrations, such as building APIs in REST/GraphQL and handling authentication & authorization
- Undergraduate education or comparable knowledge and experience with Computer Science
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Nice to have: Experience working with relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and/or search engine data solutions (e.g. Solr, Elastic, Algolia)
- Experience with deploying and monitoring applications, including using GitHub, Docker and CI/CD pipelines
- Experience in the Digital Commerce domain, including searching, filtering, shopping cart, checkout and payment flows, and order pipelines
- Experience in the Content Management domain, including CMS Templating/Componentization and Page Builder technologies
- Experience with Commerce platforms such as SAP Commerce, Adobe Commerce, Shopify, commercetools and BigCommerce
- Experience with Content Management platforms such as Adobe Experience Manager, Contentful and Builder.io
