Localization Specialist, Korean – Contract
MrBeast
• Optimize translations and adapt for dubbing and localization from the English source video • Select and refine voice casts to ensure they match the English source video • Utilize new technologies to enhance dubbed content • Manage first-hand the production and quality control of dubbed content • Preliminary post-editing of clips to improve synchronization and combining inputs (in collaboration with editing team)
Job Requirements
- C1+ English
- Native Korean
- Experience with video-editing and audio-editing tools, preferably in dubbing or voiceover production
- A scrappy self-starter with an owner-mindset
- Comfortable working with emerging production tools and voice technologies
- Organized and structured, but able to quickly adapt to changes in plans and priorities
- Comfortable working under pressure in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- 1-3 years translation and or adaptation for dubbing
- Experience working in either localization, production and/or post production
