Budget Analyst

• Study projects and analyze information to develop the activity action plan; • Define and prepare the budget WBS (Work Breakdown Structure), considering cost allocation, linking the budget to the construction schedule, and analyses of materials and labor; • Review and update unit cost compositions for services based on information provided by the client and each project; • Review and update unit prices of inputs/materials according to market proposals; • Prospect commercial proposals and prepare bid comparison tables; • Prepare estimates (parametric, executive/detailed, and operational); • Research, analyze, and prepare cost studies for constructive solutions and new building materials; • Perform critical analysis of budget values using internal parameters; • Organize and format files according to internal delivery standards. Prepare presentations as required for meetings; • Participate in delivery meetings with clients.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
- Experience with the Sienge ERP
- Experience in cost estimating
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel
- Knowledge of AutoCAD
- Team player

• Support the development and ongoing improvement of budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling processes, with a focus on accuracy, efficiency, and business impact. • Oversee Financial Analysts and external consulting resources, as needed. • Own and maintain financial models for business units, projects, and new initiatives, including scenario and sensitivity analysis. • Partner with Corporate Development, Project Development, Operations, and other stakeholders to support planning and decision-making. • Prepare and present monthly and quarterly financial reporting packages for departments and business units. • Support company-wide financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes, including materials used for leadership and Board reporting. • Perform detailed variance analysis and communicate key drivers and trends. • Develop, track, and analyze Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). • Support the implementation and ongoing use of business intelligence tools, dashboards, and reporting automation, such as Vena, PowerBI and Tableau. • Recommend improvements to financial processes, reporting, and performance measurement. • Conduct market research and contribute to market and competitive intelligence. • Support special projects and ad hoc analyses as needed.

• Prepare reporting packages for internal management and external investors; including in-depth analysis of Budget vs Actual, trending analysis, forward looking implications, and develop the overarching narrative of the business • Possess deep understanding of the client base and revenue of the business • Develop automation and own the data integrity and reporting of bookings, book of business, net retention, and revenue; both historical variance and forward looking forecasts • Coordinate with Accounting, RevOps and Customer Success to properly align new bookings and net retention reporting • Possess intimate knowledge of Salesforce.com and Netsuite data • Present and run internal monthly financial review meetings with senior management and external investors • Participate in the monthly close process; namely, month over month revenue review, departmental mapping, GL coding, and roll forward of the forecast • Perform ad-hoc research and analyses to support Sales, Customer Success, Product & Development, and the C-Suite • Own the accuracy of commissions and quarterly bonus calculations • Conduct interviews and research to aid in the development of the annual budgets and rolling forecasts • Continually strive to improve and streamline processes and system configuration • Aid in the integration of acquisition financials and develop proforma reporting capabilities
