Job Requirements

  • Solid experience in backend development with Node.js.
  • Advanced knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
  • Experience with cloud environments (AWS, GCP), including serverless services and AWS Lambda.
  • Experience with microservices architecture and object-oriented design.
  • Knowledge of REST APIs and event-driven architecture (pub/sub, Kafka).
  • Experience with Kubernetes for container orchestration.
  • Familiarity with version control on GitHub (experience using GitHub Copilot is a plus).
  • Experience with CI/CD and system integration.
  • Knowledge of caching solutions (Redis), JWT/token-based authentication, and monitoring tools (Splunk, New Relic).
  • Practice in unit, integration, security, and regression testing.
  • Good interpersonal communication, ability to work in a team, and enthusiasm for agile culture.
  • Commitment to quality best practices (clean code, clean architecture).

  • Experience with Finance systems and/or Cashback solutions.
  • Knowledge of event-driven programming and micro front-end.
  • Experience with Python.
  • Creation and execution of triggers, functions, and stored procedures in relational databases.

Job Summary As a Software Engineer (Backend) Intern at Impiricus, you will support the development of backend systems and AI-powered features that power our digital healthcare platform. You will work alongside experienced engineers to build APIs, work with databases, and experiment with AI integrations that enhance our products. This role is designed for students or recent graduates interested in backend development and applied AI. You will gain hands-on experience with modern backend technologies, cloud infrastructure, and large language model (LLM) integrations while contributing to real product features used in healthcare. Responsibilities - Assist in building and maintaining backend services and APIs that support core product features. - Work with PostgreSQL databases to help model data, write queries, and support reliable data pipelines. - Help integrate AI and LLM-based capabilities into backend workflows, including prompt development and API integrations. - Support the development of services that enable AI-powered features within our healthcare platform. - Collaborate with frontend engineers, product managers, and designers to help deliver end-to-end features. - Write clean, well-documented, and tested code while learning backend engineering best practices. - Participate in code reviews, debugging, and system improvements with guidance from senior engineers.
