What You’ll Do: The Data Scientist Intern will help develop predictive machine learning models to optimize scheduling for maintenance and shipping, launch a RAG LLM for digitizing SOPs, and support workforce digital literacy training.. They will get on-hand experience collaborating with stakeholders and presenting to executives as well as mentorship from senior leaders. What You’ll Need: - Pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in Computer Science or related field - Rising Junior or Senior - Preferred experience with Python, Tensorflow, PyTorch, Git, or related tools - Excellent written, verbal communication and presentation skills - Ability to effectively communicate issues and solutions to all levels of the team - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Compensation: - $22.00 - $26.00 per hour, commensurate with relevant experience and educational background Work Hours/Length of Program: - The internship will run for 12 weeks from May to August - Full Time, targeting 40 hours per week (possibility for more flexible hours and Part Time if necessary) - Exact start and end dates are flexible based on school schedules and the needs of the business - This is a paid internship Working Conditions and Physical Demands: This position is based in our Corporate Office, and employees are expected to wear business casual dress. The office is connected to a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility and may involve general exposure to a manufacturing environment, including exposure to noise, temperature fluctuations, or other factors. • Guide clients in redefining critical reporting and analytics to use new Kraken data and concepts, through working sessions, trainings, and occasional SQL/BI examples. • Coach client data teams on best practices and help them spot gaps in skills, roles, tools, or process. • Help clients identify reporting & analytics outcomes they need Kraken to drive and partner with product to deliver these • Train Kraken’s broader client delivery team on how to ask effective data questions and leverage data to drive business impact.

• Perform data wrangling tasks, including data cleaning, transformation, and integration from multiple sources to ensure high-quality and accurate datasets for analysis. • Continuously research and learn about new technologies and statistical methodologies to stay current in the rapidly evolving field of data science and marketing analytics. • Assist in applying advanced statistical techniques and machine learning algorithms to analyze event-level and aggregated data, identify patterns, and provide actionable insights to drive marketing performance. • Support the implementation and evaluation of marketing models, such as customer segmentation, lift analysis, attribution modeling, and marketing mix models.
