• Implement, administer and evolve the Elastic Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana, Beats, Fleet/Agent) • Create, maintain and optimize Grafana dashboards for multiple clients and environments • Configure and operate APM solutions (Elastic APM) — transaction tracing, latency, errors and application performance • Ingest, enrich and analyze logs, metrics and traces • Perform continuous environment monitoring and handle availability and performance incidents in the NOC • Develop and refine alerts, retention policies and indices in Elastic • Integrate data sources via Logstash pipelines, Beats, OpenTelemetry and APIs • Support the SOC in event correlation and anomalous behavior analysis • Document environments, runbooks and operational procedures
Job Requirements
- Strong experience with the Elastic Stack (ELK/EFK) — installation, tuning, index management and ILM
- Experience with Grafana (datasources, dashboards, alerts)
- Knowledge of APM — distributed tracing, application instrumentation, SLI/SLO metrics
- Log collection and analysis with Filebeat, Metricbeat, Logstash and Elastic Agent
- Intermediate Linux (systemd, journald, permissions, tuning)
- Networking basics (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP, SNMP) applied to monitoring
- Differentials:
- Experience in SOC, NOC
- Familiarity with OpenTelemetry (OTel Collector, auto-instrumentation)
- Experience with Zabbix or other infrastructure monitoring tools
- Scripting in Python, Bash or PowerShell for automation
- Knowledge of containers (Docker, Kubernetes) and cloud observability
- Basic AWS or Azure knowledge — CloudWatch, Azure Monitor
