Senior Back-end Developer
Lee, Brock e Camargo Advogados
• Develop and maintain backend APIs and services using Node.js and TypeScript • Drive technical decisions within your team, including design choices, modeling, and architectural evolution • Ensure the integrity and evolution of a Modular Monolith architecture using DDD and Hexagonal Architecture (Ports & Adapters) • Design and review data models in PostgreSQL, including performance considerations and migration strategies • Define and promote team best practices: TDD, code review, coding standards, and documentation • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps • Establish and monitor observability strategies with OpenTelemetry • Participate in architecture discussions with other teams and contribute to cross-team decisions
Job Requirements
- Advanced experience in backend development with Node.js and TypeScript
- Strong knowledge of DDD, Hexagonal Architecture, and design focused on bounded contexts
- Practical experience with TDD as a team practice (not just individually)
- Production experience with PostgreSQL: performance tuning, indexes, migrations, and complex data modeling
- Ability to lead code reviews with a focus on quality and team growth
- Experience with CI/CD and a continuous delivery culture
- Ability to document technical decisions (e.g., ADRs) and communicate them clearly
- Intermediate English for technical reading; spoken English for communication is a plus
