Senior Data Engineer, Graph Analytics

TRM Labs

• Build scalable graph systems to analyze networks of cryptocurrency transactions • Collaborate with engineers and data scientists to design graph algorithms • Implement real-time graph algorithms using distributed databases • Identify opportunities to apply graph theory in predictive learning problems • Research new graph-native technology and evaluate its benefits for teams • Understand and refine risk models for cryptocurrency transactions • Communicate complex implementation details clearly to various stakeholders

Job Requirements

  • Academic background in a quantitative field such as Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or Physics.
  • Strong knowledge of algorithm design and data structures
  • Experience optimizing large-scale distributed data processing systems such as Apache Spark, Apache Hadoop, or Dask
  • Experience converting academic research into products
  • Strong programming experience with Python and SQL
  • Excellent communication skills tailored for technical and non-technical audiences
  • Self-motivated with minimal guidance and comfortable working with ambiguity
  • Knowledgeable of basic graph theory concepts.
