• Design the developer console and API docs experience, from account setup and API keys to usage, billing, and rate limits • Prototype and ship playground tools, quickstarts, and code samples that let developers test endpoints and outputs before writing integration code • Turn new models and endpoints into clear, well-documented interfaces as the platform ships, keeping pace with a fast-moving API surface • Collaborate closely with platform engineering to design authentication, webhooks, and other technical flows in terms developers actually understand • Contribute to visual and interaction consistency between the developer platform and the rest of Runway's product • Set the design direction for the developer platform as a whole and mentor other designers working on it

• Manage and grow Runway’s Applied ML Research team to create cutting-edge machine learning tools for AI-based content creation • Collaborate with the engineering organization to oversee the transition from research into production • Work with the Product team to initiate and develop research projects that deliver clear user value

• Design multimodal, multitask datasets that teach world models new capabilities — deciding what data to collect, generate, or curate and measuring its effect on model behavior • Run controlled training experiments to understand how data composition drives model performance across tasks and domains • Build and operate large-scale pipelines for synthetic data generation, filtering, and quality control • Define evaluations and benchmarks that measure whether our models are actually improving at the things that matter • Partner with product and creative teams to translate target behaviors and capabilities into concrete data strategies

• Own the full API lifecycle from design and implementation to monitoring, optimization, and documentation for both public and internal APIs • Design and implement async workflows for task orchestration, content moderation, prompt enhancement, and post-processing pipelines • Optimize database queries and improve performance for a high-traffic Postgres database • Build rate limiting, fraud detection, and credit management systems • Implement comprehensive API security, rate limiting, authentication, and monitoring systems to ensure reliability at scale • Improve the public API developer experience with better documentation, SDKs, and tooling • Improve the performance, reliability, and code quality of our codebases

• Develop cutting-edge computer vision and generative models to power creative tools • Collaborate with backend team to bring research models to production • Work with design and frontend engineering team to ensure machine learning models work harmoniously with user interfaces

• Run 10-30 concurrent enterprise cycles a year at $100K - $1M+, from first outbound through production deployment • Build multi-threaded relationships across creative, marketing, technology, and procurement in $5B+ organizations • Win new logos in whitespace and source expansion in existing accounts • Work your pod plan with your Engagement Manager so consumption milestones land quickly • Forecast with the discipline of someone the CRO plans around: staged exits, named next steps, no happy ears

• Prototype and implement novel user experiences at the intersection of AI video, world models, and emerging generative media • Design and build agentic tools and interfaces that allow researchers and creatives to interact with and direct AI systems in real time • Explore new application areas for AI video and general world models — from simulation and interactive media to research tooling • Stretch the limits of front-end engineering to broaden what’s possible in research and experimentation contexts • Create internal tools and frameworks used across design and engineering teams at Runway Labs • Work alongside researchers, engineers, and product designers to shape how we think about the future of AI-driven creativity

• Work through a high volume of inbound support tickets across Free, Standard, Pro and Unlimited plans with speed and accuracy • Handle escalations from our AI support layer with sharp judgement on what needs a human and what doesn't • Identify patterns across tickets and proactively surface them to the product team- not just reporting, but also offering thoughtful recommendations based on what you're seeing • Help identify opportunities to maintain or build self-service content: help docs, short-form videos, FAQs, etc. • Engage with the Runway community on Discord and other forums • Contribute directly to process improvements and automation, including building things yourself when the opportunity is there • Triage complex technical issues for escalation to Enterprise support • Live troubleshoot within the Runway platform as needed

• Own 3-5 named $10B+ accounts end to end: executive map, multi-year account plan, commercial strategy across divisions • Build C-suite and business-unit relationships that survive procurement, security review, annual budget knife-fights • Land seven-figure platform commitments by tying Runway to named production workflows, AI infrastructure, and measurable economics • Source expansion into new divisions and use cases; partnered closely with your Engagement manager • Carry the market's feedback into product with specificity that earns engineering's attention
