We operate a vertically integrated radiology practice and in-house AI development platform designed to reduce diagnostic error and meaningfully enhance radiologist performance. Our growing group of more than 100 subspecialty-trained radiologists is among the fastest-scaling practices in the country. As demand accelerates, we are on track to more than double our physician team in 2026 and are projected to become the fifth largest teleradiology practice in the U.S. About the Role We’re looking for a 100% remote Section Chief of Musculoskeletal (MSK) Radiology to lead, mentor, and set the clinical standard for our growing MSK practice. This is a high-impact leadership role for a collaborative, quality-driven radiologist who is passionate about advancing MSK imaging at scale. As Section Chief, you will lead the MSK service line by setting quality standards, developing reading protocols, and serving as the primary clinical resource for your team. You will spend the majority of your time actively reading cases, with a dedicated portion protected for section leadership, peer mentoring, and quality oversight. Responsibilities: - Lead and mentor a high-performing team of MSK radiologists, fostering a culture of collaboration, education, and continuous improvement. - Own MSK-specific quality standards, protocols, and best practices across the practice. - Serve as a clinical resource and subject-matter expert for complex MSK cases. - Conduct quality reviews for client sites and internal radiologists, ensuring adherence to established protocols. - Partner with quality, safety, and operations teams to identify trends, address gaps, and drive measurable improvements in diagnostic accuracy and patient outcomes. - Collaborate with clinical leadership to scale the MSK section responsibly as Imagen expands nationally. - Balance clinical and leadership responsibilities, dedicating approximately 80–90% of time to clinical interpretation and 10–20% to administrative, quality, and section leadership activities, including mentorship, protocol development, and quality oversight. Benefits: - Flexible reading options - Productivity bonus - Full workstation provided - Internal licensing support and reimbursement - Malpractice coverage - 10 weeks PTO - Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision plans, short-term and long-term disability - Life insurance and FSA options Required Qualifications: - MD or DO, eligible to practice medicine in the U.S. - ABR or AOBR board-certified - Completion of an MSK fellowship - 5+ years post-training clinical experience in MSK radiology - Unrestricted license in at least one U.S. state and the ability to obtain additional state licenses. Imagen Technologies is a remote-first company and this job is conducted remotely. The base compensation range for this role is $400,000–$525,000 annually, plus benefits and additional uncapped productivity bonus opportunities. Please note that the range is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies, and work location.
