TRM’s blockchain intelligence and AI platforms include solutions to trace the source and destination of funds, identify illicit activity, build cases, and construct an operating picture of threats. TRM is trusted by leading agencies and businesses worldwide who rely on TRM to enable a safer, more secure world for all. Associate Deployment Strategist, APAC (Based in Korea) At TRM Labs, our Deployment Strategy team is on the front lines of customer experience – bridging product expertise with exceptional customer support. The team ensures our customers receive timely, accurate, and high-quality assistance at every step. You will work daily with leading financial institutions, crypto exchanges, and state and federal law enforcement agencies — providing value through expert guidance, responsive support, and trusted partnership. As an Associate Deployment Strategist in APAC, you will play a critical role in helping TRM customers achieve success with our platform. You will deliver real-time, high-quality support for TRM’s global customer base during APAC hours, while managing a subset of customer relationships to ensure consistent value and measurable outcomes. You’ll act as a trusted advisor and first responder – triaging inbound inquiries, resolving issues efficiently, and helping customers operationalise TRM’s technology to combat crypto-related financial crime. The Impact You Will Have - Own and manage real-time customer support during APAC hours, operating across TRM’s ticketing and communication platforms (e.g., Intercom) — acting as the first point of contact for inbound inquiries, ensuring timely triage, clear communication, accurate resolution, and smooth escalation to internal teams. - Act as the first point of contact for inbound requests from law enforcement, financial institutions, and crypto businesses — supporting customers with investigations and tool usage, and partnering with Solutions Engineering or Product teams to resolve more technical issues. - Manage a portfolio of Korean customer relationships, overseeing their lifecycle from onboarding through adoption, support, and renewal to ensure consistent success and alignment to TRM’s mission-critical use cases. - Support renewals and expansion, using data and customer outcomes to help make the case for continued and increased partnership with TRM. - Identify and surface new business opportunities within crypto businesses, financial institutions and law enforcement agencies - working closely with Account Directors. - Deliver product training for new and existing customers, highlighting TRM’s blockchain intelligence capabilities and helping customers apply them to their investigative and compliance objectives. - Act as the Voice of the Customer, capturing feedback from support and training interactions to inform product enhancements, documentation improvements, and cross-team learnings. - Serve as TRM’s primary Korean-language interface for customers and prospects, supporting platform demonstrations, investigative discussions, and relationship development across virtual and in-person engagements. - Represent TRM at industry events and engagements in Korea, and respond to inbound inquiries generated through marketing initiatives, events, and partnerships. What We’re Looking For - 1-3+ years of professional experience, ideally within law enforcement, government, crypto businesses, or financial institutions — preferably in compliance, investigative, or customer-facing functions. - Native or business-level Korean (spoken and written) required for all customer-facing work. Working proficiency in English for internal communication and documentation with global TRM teammates. - High empathy and responsiveness, with a genuine motivation to help customers succeed and get unblocked quickly. - Experience or strong interest in virtual currencies and blockchain analytics, ideally within a compliance or investigative context, with a willingness to deepen expertise in these areas. - Proven ability to structure complex problems, prioritise critical issues, and deliver actionable solutions in fast-paced environments. - Exceptional attention to detail and analytical rigour. - Ability to simplify and communicate complex technical and investigative concepts for diverse audiences. - Strong collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across Customer Success, Product, and Engineering teams. - Comfortable operating in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. - Willingness and ability to travel occasionally for in-person meetings, trainings, or events. - This role will be based in South Korea. About the Team - As a globally distributed team, we work across time zones to provide seamless support and collaboration for our customers. - The APAC Deployment Strategy team plays a key role in this model, ensuring continuous customer engagement and partnership as part of TRM’s global coverage. Team members operate flexibly to collaborate effectively across regions and deliver impact where and when it’s needed most. - Our Customer Success Team is fully remote, thriving on asynchronous communication and collaboration through Slack channels and detailed documentation. We hold weekly Customer Syncs, bi-weekly health syncs, join our associated POD calls, and regularly engage with our customers. - As experts in our craft, we focus on providing support, driving value, and building meaningful relationships with our customers as trusted advisors. We are on the front lines of TRM, ensuring our customers get the most out of the product and bringing valuable insights back to the team. Learn About TRM Speed in This Role - Real-Time Client Response: You’ll triage and resolve customer questions during time-sensitive events such as sanctions updates or critical investigations. - Expedited Trace Validation: You’ll coordinate with internal teams to validate traces and gather intelligence within hours, ensuring accuracy and speed. - Continuous Global Coverage: You’ll contribute to TRM’s 24-hour global support model, ensuring customers always have timely, high-quality assistance no matter their region.
