The International Command Centre Software presales team is responsible for defining, designing and demonstrating software solutions based upon our public safety portfolio in all territories excluding North America. The team also demonstrates Motorola Solutions’ wider portfolio, including body worn and in car video solutions, fixed video and land mobile radios. The team provides specialist support to our regional sales teams concerning both our portfolio and the customer’s domain. To do so, the team possesses detailed knowledge of our portfolio as well as deep knowledge of the customer’s domain. This includes not only technical expertise but also knowledge of how our customers expect such solutions to be deployed and managed in service. Job DescriptionWe are seeking a dynamic, hands-on individual to manage and operate our state-of-the-art mobile demo vehicle. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the vehicle, showcasing our products and services at various client sites and industry events across Europe, and delivering compelling, high-impact product demonstrations with the assistance of the local sales team. This is a customer-facing position that relies on solid presentation skills, experience with a wide variety of audiences and a deep knowledge of various public safety agencies. Working with customers, subcontractors, and internal teams requires excellent interpersonal skills, leadership qualities, communication skills, and a collaborative attitude. Demos will include, but not be limited to: - Guardian Command & Control - Computer Aided Dispatch and Call Taking system - TETRA system in vehicle with radios - Avigilon Unity - Video Security and Analytics with local and remote cameras - VideoManager - Body Worn Camera and in-vehicle camera system - M500 in-vehicle camera system - with ANPR from in-vehicle cameras - Vehicle Manager - cloud based ANPR - ComparisonManager Pro - Police grade facial recognition system - Calipsa Investigate - Cloud-based video analytics and searching Key Responsibilities: - Set up and deliver engaging, technically accurate demonstrations tailored to client needs and event audiences. - Represent Motorola Solutions professionally at client sites, trade shows, and promotional events. - Maintain the operational condition and appearance of the mobile demo vehicle, including routine mechanical and technical upkeep. - Coordinate logistics for demo events across multiple European countries, ensuring efficient travel and timely arrival. - Track and report on demo activities, including client feedback and technical performance. - Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to plan demo schedules and improve the customer experience. - Collaborate with the London demonstration team to ensure that the demonstrations within the vehicle closely align with the demonstrations shown in London (where appropriate) - Ensure compliance with all road regulations and cross-border travel requirements. Basic Requirements​ The ideal candidate has the following skills and capabilities: - Prior experience in field demonstrations, event support, or mobile showroom roles. - Ability to deploy and configure software to provide compelling demonstrations - Ability to configure mobile network connectivity over VPNs - Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent. - Ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders. - Fluent in spoken and written English with additional European languages being beneficial, with the ability to clearly present complex solutions to customers - Preferably, a background in or with the public safety market.
