• Support the Information Technology (IT) Department in providing scrum master services • Apply SAFe principles to organize work and enhance team performance • Lead scrum teams through all team ceremonies • Participate in quarterly program increment planning • Ensure delivery of high-quality technical solutions in accordance with SMUD’s policies and standards • Represent the status of efforts and health of the team across the Agile community.
Job Requirements
- Provide evidence of an active Scrum Master Certification
- Minimum three (3) years’ total experience as a scrum master for a scrum team within Scaled Agile Framework
- Minimum of one (1) year of experience within the past twenty-four (24) months as a Scrum Master
- Provide title held while fulfilling the role of Scrum Master
- Minimum of (1) year of experience using JIRA tool to support an agile team
- Three (3) + years of demonstrated experience in servant leadership
- Electric utility experience in the role of scrum master
- Three (3) + years of practicing Agile frameworks
- Three (3) + years of experience with prioritization of work within an agile team.

In this role, you’ll partner closely with the Product Owner, data engineers, ML engineers, and cross-functional technical teams.
