Role Description The Director of Patient Access (DPA) is a strategic field-based access leader responsible for driving patient access to therapy through proactive education, stakeholder partnership, and cross-functional collaboration. The DPA serves as the local access expert, working within a collaborative Local Action Team (LAT) framework to remove reimbursement barriers, support authorization success, and optimize the overall patient experience across the continuum of care. This role partners closely with: - Healthcare Providers (HCPs) - Infusion centers - Hospital pharmacy teams - Billing and coding professionals - Specialty pharmacies - Care coordinators - Internal stakeholders The territory for this role is SC, NC, MS, AL, GA, FL & PR. Qualified candidates must live in the territory. Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree required; master’s degree or equivalent advanced education preferred. - Minimum 10 years pharmaceutical industry experience with payer coverage and reimbursement. - Minimum 5 years’ experience supporting healthcare authorization processes and HUB collaboration. - Experience with medical benefit products, specialty pharmacy models, and rare disease infusion therapies required.
