Role Description The Channel Account Director, Trade will report to the Sr. Director, Head U.S. Market Access and will work collaboratively with Market Access Supply Chain & Trade colleagues to manage business relationships with Specialty Distributor, Specialty Pharmacy, Ambulatory Infusion Centers, AIC GPOs and Home Infusion providers. The objective of the position is to minimize NSP product access barriers and accentuate trade access opportunities. This role will manage transactional pull-through needs of negotiated contracts and collaborate with various internal stakeholders to optimize patient access to NSP products. This individual contributor role will work with their accounts to build KPIs & metrics and then communicate updates & insights to the NS Pharma Commercial Market Access leadership team. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: - Serve as the primary commercial relationship lead for specialty pharmacy and distribution partners, ensuring alignment between pharmacy operations, distribution logistics, and NS Pharma Patient Services program requirements. - Represent Trade/Supply Chain and Market Access leadership in specialty pharmacy and distribution partner contract negotiations, defining comprehensive operational terms, performance frameworks (KPIs/SLAs), and reporting expectations to ensure accountability and service excellence. - Partner with Trade/Supply Chain, Commercial Operations, and Finance teams to monitor product flow, gross-to-net and pricing implications, inventory visibility, distribution performance, and operational readiness across all portfolio distribution channels. - Direct high-level engagement through Leadership Summits and structured Business Reviews to ensure long-term alignment between partner operations and internal company business needs. - Collaborate with Patient Services leadership to design and implement specialty pharmacy programs, business rules, and workflows that minimize access barriers, optimize therapy initiation, and elevate continuity of care. - Serve as the operational liaison between distribution partners and internal Patient Services teams to identify and resolve access barriers impacting product dispensing, reimbursement, or patient onboarding. - Develop an extensive understanding of the customers' organizational and financial goals. - Gain vertical & horizontal stakeholder access within assigned accounts. - Work with Brand Market Access Marketing to identify and diagnose opportunities for value-added educational program development and messaging. - Collaborate with National Training Leadership & Development on any potential training opportunities or requirements with trade partners. - Contribute to rapid optimal launch access for current and launch products with a focus on Cell and Gene Therapies. - Create and maintain Strategic & Tactical Account Plans. - Maintain a high level of supply chain & trade industry business acumen. - Provide NSP leadership at industry conferences such as Asembia, among others. - Manage administrative requirements of the job. - Understand and apply Compliance Policies and Procedures (CPP). Qualifications - Demonstrated experience in large account sales management processes and skills. - Sales, Sales leadership, and/or Key Account leadership is a plus. - Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain relationships and collaborate with internal associates, and with C-Suite/key stakeholder customers. - Expertise in complex therapy distribution models, including specialty pharmacy, specialty distributor, limited distribution networks, and site-of-care dynamics supporting infused or advanced therapies. - History of participating in trade, distribution, and channel contract negotiations, including operational terms, performance standards, and risk mitigation consideration. - Understanding of basic pharmaceutical pricing concepts and Gross-to-Net dynamics, including the implications of distribution channel strategy, specialty pharmacy economics, government pricing considerations, and contractual terms that may impact product net revenue. - Demonstrated analytical ability, decisiveness, business judgement, and interpersonal influencing & people skills. Requirements - MBA and/or equivalent strongly preferred. - 10+ years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry. - 8+ years of pharmaceutical infusion product experience in areas such as IDN/hospital/HOPD systems of care-key account management, field reimbursement management, and trade account management knowledge & experience with Specialty Distributor, Specialty Pharmacy, Ambulatory Infusion Centers & AIC GPOs and Home Infusion providers. Role Description The Director of Patient Access (DPA) is a strategic field-based access leader responsible for driving patient access to therapy through proactive education, stakeholder partnership, and cross-functional collaboration. The DPA serves as the local access expert, working within a collaborative Local Action Team (LAT) framework to remove reimbursement barriers, support authorization success, and optimize the overall patient experience across the continuum of care. This role partners closely with: - Healthcare Providers (HCPs) - Infusion centers - Hospital pharmacy teams - Billing and coding professionals - Specialty pharmacies - Care coordinators - Internal stakeholders The territory for this role is SC, NC, MS, AL, GA, FL & PR. Qualified candidates must live in the territory. Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree required; master’s degree or equivalent advanced education preferred. - Minimum 10 years pharmaceutical industry experience with payer coverage and reimbursement. - Minimum 5 years’ experience supporting healthcare authorization processes and HUB collaboration. - Experience with medical benefit products, specialty pharmacy models, and rare disease infusion therapies required. Requirements - Deep knowledge of payer authorization and appeal processes. - Understanding of commercial, Medicare, and Medicaid insurance structures. - Knowledge of medical benefit vs. pharmacy benefit reimbursement. - Experience supporting hospital outpatient departments (HOPD), home infusion, and alternative infusion sites. - Demonstrated success in pharmaceutical field access, reimbursement, or market access roles. - Launch experience preferred, particularly in rare disease, specialty, or cell/gene therapy environments. - Experience working within integrated delivery networks (IDNs) and large health systems preferred. Role Description The Area Business Manager for NS Pharma will play a critical role in the company’s mission to educate healthcare providers, patient advocacy groups, and other key stakeholders on our innovative products for rare diseases, including our antisense oligonucleotide product, Viltepso, and other potential rare disease products. The Area Business Manager will lead outreach, educational, and relationship-building efforts within their assigned territory or geography, supporting physicians and other healthcare providers, hospitals or Centers of Excellence, infusion centers, and advocacy organizations to ensure effective and informed use of our therapies. Territory is Pacific Northwest. Key Responsibilities - Regional Education & Awareness: - Drive awareness and education efforts about NS Pharma’s portfolio of products for Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy, particularly Viltepso, and other potential rare disease products within the healthcare provider community. - Lead discussions with physicians and other healthcare providers, hospitals, Centers of Excellence, to communicate clinical benefits, appropriate administration protocols, and patient management best practices. - Ensure key stakeholders are knowledgeable about the patient journey, treatment expectations, and therapeutic outcomes associated with Viltepso and other rare disease products. - Stakeholder Engagement: - Build and maintain trusted relationships with healthcare professionals (HCPs), including pediatric and adult neurologists, multidisciplinary treatment team, hospitals and Centers of Excellence, infusion centers, and clinical support staff, who specialize in rare diseases. - Serve as a resource to HCPs and patient advocacy organizations by providing up-to-date, accurate, and relevant information on NS Pharma products and DMD. - Collaborate with key opinion leaders (KOLs) to drive understanding of the product profile and clinical application of the NS Pharma portfolio of products. - Market Intelligence & Territory Management: - Maintain in-depth knowledge of the assigned territory, including understanding the regional HCPs treatment landscape, patient demographics, competitive products, and key accounts. - Identify new opportunities for educational engagement based on market needs and strategically prioritize initiatives for optimal territory coverage and impact. - Gather and communicate insights regarding regional trends, HCP needs, and competitive landscape to inform NS Pharma’s broader commercial strategies. - Cross-Functional Collaboration: - Partner closely with other sales team members, Medical Affairs, Market Access, Patient Services and other internal teams to align educational efforts with NS Pharma’s broader strategic goals. - Facilitate connections between HCPs and the internal Medical Affairs team to address complex clinical inquiries and/or support research opportunities. - Coordinate efforts with internal leadership and Centers of Excellence (COE), Healthcare professionals (HCPs) for outreach to facilitate interactions to maximize impact and alignment across stakeholder-facing functions. - Compliance & Reporting: - Ensure all activities comply with company policies, regulatory requirements, and industry guidelines. - Maintain detailed records of engagement activities, market insights, and educational outreach, submitting timely reports to inform ongoing strategy and decision-making. Qualifications - Education: Bachelor’s degree required, with a preference for a degree in Life Sciences, Business, or related field. An advanced degree (e.g., MBA, M.S., Pharm.D.) is highly valued. - Experience: Minimum of 10+ years of experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, or healthcare sales, with 2+ years in rare disease or neurology experience. Background in DMD or similar therapeutic areas is highly desirable. - Skills & Competencies: - Demonstrated success in building relationships with HCPs, hospitals and Center of Excellence and understanding of patient advocacy organizations. - Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to convey complex clinical information in a compelling and clear manner. - Must have infusion and rare disease experience. - High proficiency in territory planning, stakeholder engagement, and market analysis. - Demonstrated launch experience in rare disease and/or Neurology related diseases. - Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities within a geographically dispersed region. - Familiarity with compliance regulations in the pharmaceutical industry. Requirements - Living in and a willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory. - Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and adapt to evolving priorities. - Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
