The Role We are seeking a highly skilled Level 2 Escalation Technician to join our team. In this role, you will serve as the primary escalation point for complex technical issues that our Level 1 team cannot resolve. Your core focus will be on network infrastructure (firewalls, switches, Wi-Fi), Microsoft 365 environments, and virtualization. This is a dynamic, hybrid position. You will spend the majority of your time working remotely from home, with the requirement to travel to client sites within the Durham Region (and surrounding areas) 1 to 2 times per week for hands-on troubleshooting, deployments, and face-to-face client support. Key Responsibilities - Escalation Support: Act as the primary escalation point for Level 1 technicians, resolving complex technical issues efficiently. - Network Management: Configure, troubleshoot, and maintain network infrastructure, including firewalls (SonicWall, WatchGuard), switches, and wireless access points (Ubiquiti). - Cloud & Systems Administration: Manage, deploy, and troubleshoot Microsoft 365 environments (Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, Entra ID/Azure AD). - Virtualization: Deploy, manage, and troubleshoot virtualized environments using VMware ESXi and/or Microsoft Hyper-V. - RMM Management: Utilize Datto RMM, Field Effect to monitor client networks, manage alerts, deploy scripts, and maintain accurate documentation of environments and ticket resolutions. - Client-Facing Support: Travel to client locations 1 to 2 times per week to perform onsite diagnostics, hardware installations, and build strong relationships with users and stakeholders. - Mentorship: Provide technical guidance and share knowledge with junior technicians to elevate the team's overall capabilities. - - Required Qualifications - MSP Experience: Mandatory. You must have previous, proven experience working within a Managed Service Provider environment. - Vehicle Requirement: Mandatory. You must have a valid G-class driver’s license, a clean driving record, and access to a reliable personal vehicle for client visits (mileage will be compensated). - Technical Proficiency: * Strong working knowledge of ConnectWise (Manage). - Hands-on experience configuring and supporting SonicWall, WatchGuard, and Ubiquiti networking gear. - Solid understanding of server virtualization (ESXi and Hyper-V). - Deep knowledge of Microsoft 365 administration and troubleshooting. - Professionalism: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. Job Description: Job Summary: The Outreach & Engagement Specialist is responsible for outreach efforts and engagement of clients with opioid use disorders that are primarily receiving medication assisted treatment services (MAT) at one of the System's outpatient programs. Outreach and engagement services may be provided from a variety of locations including remote, onsite, and/or offsite within the community. Essential Job Functions: - Maintains caseload of clients with opioid use disorders that are primarily receiving - Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) services, and may not be as engaged in other services offered through the outpatient treatment program in which they are enrolled. - Facilitates regular and ongoing outreach to this caseload via telephone, virtual and/or face to face contact with clients. - Meet with clients in the community, as needed, to provide necessary resources or services (such as narcan) with the purpose of reducing barriers to access and increasing engagement in services. - Facilitates a minimum of two morning and two afternoon/evening group sessions focused on education and support of individuals receiving medication assisted treatment. - Ensures accurate and complete documentation of outreach and engagement efforts, as well as individual and group sessions in clients’ electronic health records following DMH/CARF/CSTAR standards. - Updates treatment plans, as needed, with applicable outreach/engagement efforts, as well as participation in ongoing support groups. - Works in collaboration with the treatment teams at each of the various locations in regards to providing client updates and input to treatment recommendations. This may or may not include attending weekly staff meetings and/or providing information via email. - Assists in identifying areas in need of improvement with priority focus on client needs. - Attend regularly scheduled individual and team meetings with the Program Director or direct supervisor. - Represent the agency in a professional manner and demonstrates interest in long and short term goals and objectives of the company. - Other duties as assigned by Program Director, Vice President and/or Executive Team Member. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: - Basic understanding of the treatment of substance use disorders and the knowledge of the types of challenges and barriers for persons with substance use disorders to access and engage in treatment programs. - Possess a working knowledge of and skill proficiency to perform outreach and engagement services. - Knowledge of legal requirements and confidentiality laws related to treating mental health and substance use disorders. - Ability to establish rapport with the client population. - Capable of communicating ideas clearly and effectively both written and verbally. - Proficient in computer skills. - Strong organizational and time/task management skills. - Must be comfortable working with and meeting with clients in the community (home, public location), as needed. Experience and Education Qualifications: - Certified Peer Specialist (CPS) AND Community Support Specialist through the State of work. - A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in a human services related field (social work, psychology, nursing, education, etc) OR - An individual with any four year degree and two years qualifying experience, OR - An Individual with any four year combination of higher education and experience, OR - An individual with a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of four years of qualifying experience. - Certification as a Peer Specialist by the state or meeting minimum requirements necessary to obtain certification as peer specialist within 6months of hire. - Be at least 21 years of age. - Self identify as a present or former client of mental health or substance use services OR self identifies as a person in recovery from mental health or substance use disorder. - Complete a training program and if required, pass a standardized examination. - Exceptions to the qualifications listed may be made by the appropriate Executive Team member. Supervisory Requirements: None Employment Requirements: - Successful completion of background check including criminal record, driving record, abuse/neglect and fingerprint check. - Completion of New Hire Orientation at the beginning of employment. - All training requirements including Relias at the beginning of employment and annually thereafter. - Current driver’s license, acceptable driving record and current auto insurance - Successful completion of DMH Community Support 101 Training within 30 days of hire. - Obtainment of First Aid/CPR certification within three (3) months of employment and upon renewal date. - Must have reliable means of transportation and proof of valid and current insurance. - Extensive knowledge of the policies, procedures, and regulations of the program to which the employee is assigned.
