Role Description Social Factor is looking for a remote German Language Social Media Community Moderator. The Language Community Moderator will be responsible for the review, removal, and escalation of inappropriate content on assigned projects across social media platforms. Responsibilities include: - Moderating in their respective languages. - Potentially working in English-speaking projects where needed. - Completing a Community Moderation & language assessment upon initial screening. - Providing insights into English and specified language experience. Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree preferred - preferably in a related field (Communications, Journalism, Psychology, Media, Marketing). - Native-level understanding of the respective language. - Experience using online support platforms such as Hootsuite, Khoros, Sprout Social, Sprinklr is a plus. - Flexible work/open availability schedule is a plus (Weekends/holidays/evenings). - Excellent communication skills - creative, written, and verbal. - Previous experience working in Social Care, Social Media Moderation, and/or Community Engagement is a plus. Requirements - Native-level understanding of the German language. - Deep understanding of respective language pop culture, nomenclature, cultural references, and slang. - Previous social media moderation knowledge & experience with major social media platforms: FB, X, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc. is required. - Strong willingness to learn and think critically; a proactive approach. - High energy with the capability to multitask in a dynamic, rapidly growing organization. - Interact with users in real-time, answering questions and appropriately engaging in discussion and troubleshooting efforts. - Flag, tag, escalate & moderate assigned customer social communities. - Manage high levels of inbound conversations, following workflow guidelines and KPI goals set per project in your respective native language(s). - Minimum of Windows 10 and macOS 12.X. - Internet speed requirement of a minimum of 50 mbps.
