The Packaging Support Coordinator supports food packaging product lines by coordinating customer orders, artwork and proof approvals, vendor communications, purchase order setup, pricing updates, quality issue tracking, and vendor documentation/audit support. Artwork, prepress & approvals: - - Create and update artwork for new and existing customers; apply working knowledge of prepress/graphics and art approval processes. - Coordinate artwork, die lines, and proofs between sales representative, customer, and vendor to secure timely approvals. Quality support: - - Track quality-related concerns and partner with appropriate team members to communicate and resolve issues. - Maintain the quality tracker to ensure current status, documentation, and follow-up. Vendor documentation & audit support: - - Maintain up-to-date vendor documentation including specification sheets, PFAS, logs, and other required records. - Support sales representatives and customers with annual audits by completing required paperwork and documentation. Cross-functional support & training: - - Collaborate with the Food Packaging Team on new projects across product lines. - Coordinate vendor-led training for field representatives and new employees. Printed packaging growth (printed pouches / printed poly bags): - - Support customers ordering printed pouches and printed poly bags. - Contribute to efforts to expand the printed packaging product line. Requirements: - High school diploma or equivalent required. Associate’s degree or above preferred. - Minimum 3 years’ customer service experience - Ability and willingness to build strong relationships with vendors, sales representatives, and customers. - Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Teams. - Proficiency using a MAC. - Proficiency in Power BI. - Strong written and verbal communication skills. - Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and able to perform in a fast-paced environment. - Team-oriented; willing to step in and help when needed. Preferred Qualifications - Working knowledge of artwork/graphics tools such as Adobe Illustrator, Foxit, or Quark (or similar) for packaging artwork coordination. - Familiarity with prepress workflows, proofing, and art approval processes.
