About this role The BlackRock Global Markets – APAC ETF Capital Markets team is responsible for growing and protecting the trading of the iShares product suite. We are passionate about leading all aspects of primary and secondary market ETF trading! We seek to identify and mitigate trading frictions that could impact the market quality of our products. In addition, we work alongside ETF market participants, such as liquidity providers, exchanges and regulators, to strengthen and advance the ETF trading ecosystem. Your Role and Impact As part of the ETF capital markets team, you will be the ETF markets specialist for funds domiciled in Taiwan. You will be responsible for oversight and development of the Taiwan ETF market ecosystem, including the primary and secondary market trading, and managing the relationships with market makers, authorized participants, brokers, exchanges and trading platform. Your Responsibilities - Primary Market Coverage: Perform and oversight primary market activities (creations/redemptions) between APs, Portfolio Management, Trading, Exchange & ETF Service Providers - Secondary Market Ecosystem: Monitor ETF secondary market trading landscape to gather market intelligence and identify opportunities for market quality improvements of existing products, drive advancement and innovation within the ETF ecosystem, inclusive of new products, improvements in market structure, and infrastructure enhancements - Authorized Participant & Market Maker Engagement: Develop relationships with authorized participants, market makers, broker dealers and other core counterparties within the ETF ecosystem to improve the market quality of our ETFs & to help promote distribution to existing and potential new clients - Process Improvements: Drive innovation projects working alongside internal and external partner teams to reduce trading frictions, minimise operational risk and drive platform improvements. - Be the markets expert for the Taiwan ETF ecosystem and drive forward key initiatives to enhance the ETF ecosystem You Have - 5 years+ relevant experience in financial markets (asset management or investment banking) - Strong background / knowledge in the equity and/or fixed income market, preferably gained through a trading or sales role - A high level of initiative and ability to work under pressure and be comfortable taking primary responsibility for deliverables assigned - High degree of professional discretion, accountability, and judgment. About the Role Improvado is looking for a VP of IT & InfoSec to lead and scale our information security, data privacy, IT operations, and internal technology function. This is a leadership role responsible for protecting Improvado's infrastructure, client data, and business reputation — while enabling the company to close enterprise deals faster by being a trusted security partner. You will be the single point of accountability for all things security and IT: enterprise client security engagements, compliance frameworks, vendor and SaaS stack governance, IT automation and infrastructure, privacy regulations, and internal technology operations. What You'll Own 1. Client & Enterprise Security - Serve as the primary Improvado representative in client-facing security reviews, audits, and questionnaires (SOC 2 Type II, ISO 27001, TPRM, vendor risk assessments) - Respond to enterprise client security findings — triaging severity, committing to remediation timelines, and following through to resolution - Join customer calls (Gong, Zoom) for security deep-dives, answering technical questions from client InfoSec, Legal, and Procurement teams - Build trust with enterprise clients' security teams to unblock or accelerate deals (e.g., Credit Karma, FordDirect, GSK) - Own and maintain security documentation packages: SOC 2 reports, DPAs, penetration test results, security questionnaires, and compliance attestations 2.
