Technical Virtual Assistant, Operations, Shopify, Design Support
Assist World
• Manage and organize multiple inboxes (3+) • Set up email rules, filters and automations • Respond to emails on behalf of the client (suppliers, internal communication) • Summarize key updates and flag important items • Work within Shopify to manage and support product-related tasks • Research and implement Shopify apps and integrations • Pull product items from Shopify into tools or workflows • Assist in improving systems and operational workflows • Assist with email marketing campaigns • Create and edit visual content using Canva • Support social media and content initiatives • Assist with data tracking and KPI reporting • Work with Excel (Power BI is a bonus) • Upload and organize data for reporting tools • Create furniture layouts, mood boards, and visual concepts • Use Shopify + connected apps to pull products into visual designs • Help create visual representations for customers (e.g. room concepts) • Learn and use design/visualization tools • Support visual content creation for marketing campaigns
Job Requirements
- 3+ years experience as a Virtual Assistant or similar role
- Strong technical and systems mindset
- Proven experience with:
- ○ Shopify (ESSENTIAL)
- ○ Canva or similar design tools
- ○ Creating visual content or layouts
- Ability to work with Shopify integrations and apps
- Comfortable creating visual product layouts (especially furniture or similar)
- Strong email management and organizational skills
- Fluent English (written and verbal)
