• The Manager, Healthcare Strategy for EXL’s Payment Integrity Strategic Growth Unit (PI SGU) is a role with high visibility & impact designed to amplify the effectiveness of the PI SGU head and drive the strategic priorities for the unit. • This role will serve as a trusted advisor, strategic partner, and an extension of the SGU head, interface with leads from client-facing PODs, analytics, operations, technology, sales, and other enabling functions. • This role will support the SGU’s Project Management Office (PMO). • This role will ensure smooth coordination across SGU, drive leadership reporting and communication, mitigate risks, and be the primary liaison to Executive Leadership.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 3 plus years of experience in consulting, business operations, program management
  • Experience working within healthcare domain
  • Strong presentation and communication skills, with the ability to tailor messaging to diverse audiences
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel for data organization, reporting, and analysis
  • Experience working in both payer and provider environments (preferred)
  • Knowledge of claims auditing & Payment Integrity business is a plus (preferred)
  • Soft Skills: Strong leadership, project management, communication, and critical thinking skills, with a passion for collaboration and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work effectively across various time zones, adapt to different countries, cultural contexts, and diverse business environments.

Job Description Turner & Townsend is seeking an experienced Senior Cost Manager / Quantity Surveyor to act as the day‑to‑day client interface and lead delivery of a value‑added cost management service on a large, multi‑phase data center development program. You will drive cost planning, change management, procurement support, and governance, ensuring commercial rigor across multiple phases/packages. The ideal candidate is a confident client‑facing communicator who is self‑motivated, collaborative, and able to work independently when needed. Travel Requirement Candidates may be based remotely, with preference for Chicago, IL or Indianapolis, IN for ease of in‑person client interaction. Monthly travel (2–3 days per trip) to the project site near St. Louis, MO is required. Responsibilities: - Serve as the key, day‑to‑day client interface; ensure client objectives are met through best‑in‑class cost management. - Lead scope delivery for assigned phases/packages; coordinate with designers, GC/CM, and trade partners. - Prepare and present clear written and verbal updates, executive summaries, and recommendations. - Develop estimates and cost plans through design, presenting updates at each design milestone. - Review and reconcile estimates with the GC/CM and design team; validate quantities and scope alignment. - Provide commercial input to design optioneering and value engineering (VE); inform engineering priorities based on cost/constructability. - Support procurement strategy and contract administration; review contractor/subcontractor pricing. - Lead/assist price negotiations to drive fair and competitive contract values. - Provide independent cost/market inputs using internal benchmarks and supplier intelligence. - Manage change orders end‑to‑end: evaluate, negotiate, and track through approval. - Maintain commitment tracking, contingency management, trend analysis, and risk registers. - Ensure robust cost validation, auditing, and change control processes throughout delivery. - Produce timely monthly cost reports, forecasts, cash flows, and variance analyses. - Coordinate funding data, develop executive‑level summaries, and facilitate VE/risk sessions. - Implement and maintain Turner & Townsend Business Management Systems (BMS) and delivery tools; comply with SOX controls where applicable. - Mentor and coach junior team members; model T&T purpose, values, and service excellence. - Contribute to continuous improvement of internal tools, templates, benchmarks, and best practices. - Support account growth and cross‑selling through strong stakeholder relationships. - SOX control responsibilities may be part of this role, which are to be adhered to where applicable. Qualifications - Ability to travel to the St. Louis, MO area monthly (1–2 trips, 2–3 days each). - Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Engineering, or related field (advanced degree a plus). - A minimum of 6-7 years of cost management / project controls experience, including leading cost deliverables on medium‑to‑large, complex projects. - Data center or mission‑critical/industrial project experience strongly preferred. - Consultancy experience preferred; strong knowledge of procurement, commercial management, contracts, change, and risk. - Demonstrated expertise in estimating, cost planning, budgeting, reporting, and cost control systems. - RICS accreditation (or working toward it) strongly preferred. - Excellent client‑facing communication and negotiation skills; ability to influence stakeholders. - Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail; proficiency with industry‑standard cost tools. This role will predominantly work remotely, with preference given to those located in Western Pennsylvania. The Telephonic Care Manager is responsible for care coordination and health education for identified Health Plan members through telephonic collaboration with members and their caregivers and providers. Identifies members' medical, behavioral, and social needs and barriers to care. Develops a comprehensive care plan that assists members to close gaps in preventive care, addresses barriers to care, and supports the member's self-management of chronic illness based on clinical standards of care. Collaborates and facilitates care with other medical management staff, other departments, providers, community resources and caregivers to provide additional support. Members are followed by telephone or other electronic communication methods. Title and salary will be determined based upon education and nursing experience for Sr. Professional Care Manager within the Insurance Services Division. Responsibilities: - Present complex members for review by the interdisciplinary team summarizing clinical and social history, healthcare resource utilization, case management interventions. Update the plan of care following review and communicate recommendations to the member and providers. - Contact members with gaps in preventive health care services and assist them to schedule required screening or diagnostic tests with their providers. - Review member's current medication profile; identify issues related to medication adherence, and address with the member and providers as necessary. Refers member for Comprehensive Medication Review as appropriate. - Conduct comprehensive assessments that include the medical, behavioral, pharmacy, and social needs of the member. Review UPMC Health Plan data for services the member has received and identify gaps in care based on clinical standards of care. - Refer members to appropriate health plan programs based on assessment data. Engage members in education or self management programs. Provide members with appropriate education materials or resources to enhance their knowledge and skills related to physical health, emotional health, or lifestyle management. - Successfully engage member to develop an individualized plan of care in collaboration with their primary care provider that promotes healthy lifestyles, closes gaps in care, and reduces unnecessary ER utilization and hospital readmissions. Coordinates and modifies the care plan with member, caregivers, PCP, specialists, community resources, behavioral health contractor, and other health plan and system departments as appropriate. - Document all activities in the Health Plan's care management tracking system following Health Plan standards and identify trends and opportunities for improvement based on information obtained from interaction with members and providers. - Conduct member outreach in response to assist with member issues or concerns or facilitate specific population health goals. Seek input from clinical leadership to resolve issues or concerns. - Minimum of 2 years of experience in a clinical setting and case management nursing required. - Ability to interact with physicians and other health care professionals in a professional manner required. - Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills required. - Computer proficiency required. - Meet minimum internet system/service and speed/ latency requirements as set forth by UPMC. Equipment must be connected directly or hard-wired to the internet modem/router with an ethernet cable. Most cable and fiber optic providers can meet the requirement. - Private, secure designated workspace required in the home office setting or the ability to work from a designated UPMC office location daily. Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances: - Case management certification or approved clinical certification preferred - Registered Nurse (RN) - Act 34 *Current licensure either in the state where the facility is located or, if the facility is in a state covered by the multistate Nursing Licensure Compact (NLC) agreement, a multistate license issued by a participating NLC state.
